El Moral Caves - cave III

Cave III is adapted for people with disabilities, has 2 bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen dining room of 40 square meters and fireplace.
Like all others, it has bed linen, microwave, full kitchen utensils and all the necessary amenities to make your stay an unforgettable experience.
Our Cave Houses, built with materials typical of the area such as wood and stone, are decorated in a rustic style and have all the comforts of today, to achieve greater well-being.
Thanks to the interior distribution of each cave you can enjoy a very cozy atmosphere, in addition to enjoying the natural light inside each cave house.
Cuevas-Cortijo El Moral can be defined as “something different” that surprises us. Sleeping in a Cave House is a unique experience. Excavated in the bowels of the earth, integration with nature and ecological awareness are hallmarks of this type of accommodation. In the Grenadian Altiplano they are habitual housing, in them they have been vestiges of the bronze age, they were inhabited by the Moors and now, after being rehabilitated, they are offered to Rural Tourism.

As a tourist modality, we are faced with something authentic, out of the ordinary, although with all the comforts of a home, which will give us knowledge about the natural and cultural values of a land little known, but at the same time fascinating, the Altiplano de Granada. Simply, we are faced with something different, but charming.

Cuevas-Cortijo El Moral is a tourist complex located in a unique enclave, outside the town center and in the middle of nature. Next to the Galera river and the impressive Bad-Lands (formations very characteristic of Castillejar and the Altiplano de Granada), integrated into a farm of olive groves and olive groves and with excellent views over Castillejar, the valley and the river.
Our Cave Houses and the Farmhouse, are equipped with everything you need to spend a few days relaxing in nature, away from the noise and stress of everyday life, but without losing the connection, since we have free Wi-Fi access.



The Cave Houses offer a constant temperature all year round between 18 and 20 degrees Celsius, so this type of accommodation becomes the maximum exponent of bioclimatic housing, offering warmth in winter and cool in summer.
Outside our complex and in the private enclosure where you are, you can find a large terrace with barbecues, benches for rest, wooden tables and a large pool. You can also enjoy large green areas and recreation with swings for the little ones, and the best views and sunsets of Castilléjar.
