Juniper HAYLOFT, Grasmere

Juniper Hayloft is a lovely little retreat for two, tucked behind Juniper Cottage on Easedale Road on the outskirts of Grasmere.

The cottage provides a perfect retreat for 2, close to Grasmere, with fantastic walks right from your doorstep. The property has a cosy open plan kitchen living room which is light and airy with large picture windows and roof lights.  Upstairs there is a large double bedroom, with the shower room located on the landing at the foot of the stairs.

This property is next door to Juniper Cottage, which sleeps 6, and can be booked together for groups of up to 6-8 with the benefit of separate space.

There is parking for one car.

Great stay, great place

Grasmere is a wonderful place to visit and Juniper Hayloft was a great place to stay. It was comfortable with modern appliances, nicely kept and close to everything. I would stay again.

Wonderful location

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Juniper Hayloft. It was the perfect location - a short walk from the centre of Grasmere and so many lovely walks into the hills straight from the property.

This is a lovely little cottage and was well equipped with everything you would need. Was handy for Grasmere although to call it a flat walk down to the village is not right. Its on quite a hill. Property is light, bright and beautifully presented. The little courtyard is in the middle of quite a few other properties to rent but there was no noise. There is a handy little lane to the rear which was great for walking the dog along for wees and poos.

A happy holiday despite the rain

Comfortable .The heating was a little lacking and did not come on in the evening when it would have been appreciated . Otherwise a good stay.

Juat what we needed

Excellent location, tight car parking spot depending on how other car nextdoor parks. Sofa a little small and hard, could do with a foot stool to aid comfiness,however, Perfect size property for what we needed and mamy walks right on the doorstep to explore our favourite part of the lakes

Very Convenient

Extremely handy base for walking in this area and easy access to all the village facilities. One thing I hadn’t thought of was the challenge of a dirty dog and only having a small shower cubicle so one to consider if booking! (We made it work somehow). Only slight down side to the property was the sofa isn’t the comfiest place to sit of an evening, but we fixed that by visiting the pub instead. Overall very good for our needs and an easy experience.

Lovely little one up / one down with a lovely light airy bedroom upstairs and a nice kitchen/ living space downstairs. Quirky L shaped layout.... Segueued into the old buildings so the bedroom is not directly above the living space! Only disadvantage is toilet/shower room is downstairs too.. so a slight trek for any nighttime waterworks!

Sehr gute Lage für Wanderungen in und um Grasmere. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und Pubs/ Cafés innerhalb weniger Minuten zu Fuß zu erreichen. Ruhige Umgebung, gute Ausstattung des Hauses, klein und fein und sehr sauber. Jederzeit gerne wieder.
