Ocean Cottage 43 This oceanfront cottage-style townhome is located in Jekyll Island's most desirable cottage community The Cottages at Jekyll Island and is dressed with ocean views. This cottage offers 3 bedrooms and 3.5 bathrooms. Open floor plan with kitchen, dining, and living. Off the main living area is a large screened-in porch, perfect for every season. and a patio with a gas grill, gas fire table, and 4 Adirondack chairs. The master bedroom suite with master bath is located on the first floor. Also on the first floor is a full laundry. Two bedrooms each with a private bath are located on the second floor and are both open to a large balcony with rocking chairs. Enjoy the fresh ocean breeze and spectacular views. This cottage includes a portable queen airbed with the frame, an infant bouncer and high chair, a shower chair in the master bath two sets of right-handed golf clubs, beach chairs, a beach umbrella, inflatables, beach toys, a collapsible beach caddy and a wheeled cooler. Access to The Cottages at Jekyll Island million-dollar amenities includes an oceanfront swimming pool, clubhouse and fitness room, beach deck, beach access and community fire pit.

2 Parking Spaces - No trailers of any kind allowed.

This cottage is the "Crane" floorplan and accommodates 6.

If our no pet or no smoking policy is broken, a $1000 fine will be charged AND you will be asked to vacate the property without a refund.

THE COTTAGES BEACH ACCESS:
The Cottages beach is approximately 2000 linear feet and has a dune area and seawall that runs the length of the Cottages oceanfront property. There are 3 dune crossovers to the sand area landside of the seawall that are always accessible, and that area can be used for recreational purposes. The access to the beach over the seawall is centrally located at the pool & clubhouse. At high tide, the water is at the seawall. The tides change every 6 hours from low to high tide. A tide chart will help you plan your beach time. The nearest beach park with ocean access all day is Oceanview Beach Park, appx 2 miles south just past the Holiday Inn. You may view all Jekyll Beaches by visiting the Jekyll Island website under the Beaches tab.

Great Fall Break on Jekyll with family

We had a wonderful time at Jekyll. The house is very clean and set up for a fun vacation! Loved the neighborhood and location, too! Fun being able to walk each evening on the beach to Driftwood.

Perfect location in Jekyll Island

We totally enjoyed our stay here. The pictures are completely accurate. It was actually a lot more roomy than what we expected. Everything was very clean and comfortable. This cottage would definitely be our first choice when traveling back to Jekyll Island.

Pefect location for R and R. Beach was awesome. My sister and I had a very nice time. Beds very comfortable. Super clean and modern. Unit was nicely stocked with dishes and beach chairs. Nicely situated to other places on Jekell Island.

Great location to relax and enjoy the beautiful ocean views

We loved everything about the cottage. We love that each bedroom had its own bath and there was also a 1/2 bath just off the kitchen. The views from the upper deck were amazing. And we enjoyed the screened lower deck in the evenings. Would definitely consider this cottage on our next trip.

Weekend getaway

We had a wonderful time and home was beautiful. View of ocean is just superb. We were able to spread out and enjoy time with our adult children and our parents. We enjoyed the island and the bike riding around the trails. Only problem we had was grill wouldn’t get hot enough to cook our burgers so we had to bring them inside to cook. Next night we went to Zackry’s Riverhouse. Food was delicious. Recommend it to anyone staying on Jekyll.

Great Location, Beautiful community

We stayed here with another couple for a few days. We loved the location with a fantastic view of the ocean. The condo was immaculate and had everything a family could possibly need. My only suggestion would be to provide some spices in the kitchen.

We had a great stay at Cottage 43. The house was clean, very comfortable beds, and good location. My only complaint would be the pool is not heated. Water was freezing and dirty. We could not swim at all during our visit. Wish there was a hot tub too.

Beautiful setting. Close to everything.

The house was well equipped and had a perfect view of the ocean. The beds were comfortable and the balconies were amazing. Unfortunately it was a very cold week so we enjoyed the view from inside. Parker was very responsive and checkin was extremely smooth. Highly recommend.

Great Stay and View

My family had a great experience overall. The view from the house was amazing and everything was very clean and well maintained. The cottage was located very close to all of the activities that we had planned. The drawbacks to note were a lack of response to an email question I submitted prior to my stay to confirm items that would be available for my young son, and some of the limited amenities. It would have been helpful to have more clean towels, a few more trash bags, and enough dishwasher pods to run the dishwasher each evening. I also left the thermostat on the number requested upon checkout, but would personally keep it much cooler for the cleaners so that they would not need to work in a warm house.

The property was beautiful and just as described. The photos do not give the view justice as it is amazing! The cottage is about 35 yards from the shoreline and the French doors, porches and windows make it possible to enjoy the view from much of the cottage. Highly recommend.

Gem of a place

Great house, well appointed, would definitely stay again. Happen to have alot of rain when we were there but my teenagers loved playing billiards in the community house, great asset to have on a rainy day. Proximity to water was great, loved the screened in porch and open air balcony but ended up going down the beach when we actually wanted to sit in the sand, overall relaxing week.
