The 'Quinta' nestles on the edge of the Arrabida National Park so it's naturally quiet and has beautiful views. It's also just a short drive to the local town (great coffee) just 5-10 minute drive away and not far from beautiful beaches. The accommodation is clean and had everything we needed to have a wonderful family break. We'd love to return again.

Peaceful an relaxing stay

Lovely peaceful and private property. Very clean with stunning living room and a very large swimming pool In a lovely garden. Barbara is an excellent host and replied quickly to any questionsThe nearest village is two kms away and a car is essential.The villa is a great base from which to travel to uncrowded beaches, vineyards and unspoilt towns

Beautiful, quiet get-away

My family stayed in this lovely house for a week and had a great time. Barbara is extremely helpful and kind. The house itself is spacious and comfortable and clean and the pool was great. The house stays really nice and cool even in the heat of the day. Close to nice beaches and a town and a close enough for day trips to Lisbon. We would definitely come back!

Summer holiday Arrábida national park.

We have just returned following a fantastic two weeks in Arrábida. The location is perfect for nature, beaches and super convenient for Lisbon (40 mins), The property is in a national park and its grounds so large you cannot see its boundaries so feel completely immersed in nature and have total privacy whilst at the same time being only 10 minutes for every convenience in the local village. We particularly loved the clear night skies and star gazing. The pool is huge and a lovey temperature surrounded by beautiful gardens to explore. The Quinta is comfortable and provides everything you need for your stay and truly forgot time for two weeks. Barbara and Jose are described as hosts and having never met before felt more like visiting family, they are as attentive or as distant as you like but with the comfort that they are close by should you need assistance, They are genuinely lovely people who we were sad to leave. Barbara asked upon our leaving is there anything that needs to be done to improve but for those who appreciate the "Real" Portugal and what`s truly important in life would not change anything.

Attention prévoir une bonne voiture car chemin un peu difficile au départ … Mais paradis assuré à l’arrivée !Calme beauté du paysage et surtout délicatesse des propriétaires et gentillesse. Le logement 5/5 ! Adresse impeccable et à recommander ! Séjour inoubliable !

Ideal house in a beautiful location in the PN de Arrábida

We (2 adults, 3 children) loved the peaceful and beautiful location of this house, within a Quinta: spotlessly clean, quiet, magnificent views of the surrounding Arrábida National Park, sunsets and a short drive from villages/towns, and spectacular beaches and bays. Barbara and her husband live closeby and are so kind and welcoming. We would have stayed longer to enjoy the house, the pool / garden and the wonderful National Park and surrounding region that we love! We will return soon we hope!

Tasmin and her family have been awesome guests! As soon as they arrived I knew our place would be in great hands. Very polite, friendly and respectful. Communication at all times.
