Tomintoul is a sleepy little town that doesn't have a pub. The house was nice and clean, though there is more you have to do upon departure than we've encountered in most other VRBOs. The backyard is very nice. There was no soap or shampoo for the showers - again, something most other VRBOs provide. We took a lovely walk around the outskirts of the town and ate in the restaurant in town. The apps were all good, but the pours on the whiskey were extremely light. All in all, a nice place to stay if you know what to expect.
