About this property

Beautiful Setting in the Hamptons with Pool & Tennis Court.

Located in Sagaponack, this home is ideal for an easygoing vacation with a swimming pool, tennis court and a large lawn for playing outdoor games. The South-facing deck has a grill and table for outdoor dining and overlooks the lawn. There is a light-filled open living room and dining area with high ceilings, and a separate kitchen. Two bedrooms are on the first floor. One has a queen bed and the other has twin beds. The third bedroom on the second floor has a queen bed. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. It is a quick 10-12 minute drive to Sagg Main Beach and Bridgehampton main street and a 15 minute drive to Sag Harbor and East Hampton. Poxabogue public golf course and driving range is a few minutes away. Our tennis court is hard surface (very usable and fun to have in your back yard, but well worn with a few cracks). A variety of children's and adults bikes are available in the basement. Please be sure to look carefully at the Amenities, Rooms, and Rule & Policies descriptions for more specific details. For bookings less than 30 days a mandatory Suffolk County tax of 5.5% will be charged. A minimum rental of 3 weeks is required during the summer and a minimum of a month off-season. IMPORTANT NOTE: Heat and electricity are additional for off-season renters per arrangement with owner. Utilities are included with summer rentals. For stays one month or longer, renters are expected to pay for our housekeeper to clean once a month.

Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
For stays one month or longer, the house must be cleaned once a month by our housekeeper for a minimum of 4 hours, which the guest pays for.
Minimum rental period is 2 weeks during the summer months.
The fireplace may not be used.

Stellar location. right in the middle of East Hampton to South Hampton to Sag Harbor. 5 to 10 minutes from everything. Or add 20 minutes during holiday traffic.

A Perfect Getaway!

We had a wonderful stay at this home! The house was incredibly comfortable and made for a truly enjoyable experience. The owners have gone above and beyond with their attention to detail, providing thoughtful touches and niceties that made us feel right at home. Magical Summer

We have enjoyed this wonderful home for three years and it has become a part of our Hamptons experience. Margaret is so lovely and a thoughtful owner. The house has every amenity and is a welcoming, relaxing and comfortable property. It is also located in our favorite area of the Hamptons.

Wonderful home that has it all

From beginning to end, our experience at this warm and inviting home made our stay in the Hamptons most enjoyable. The home is clean and comfortable and has many amenities one could want on vacation. The location is great, being close to the nicest towns, wineries and the ocean. Last but not least Margaret, the owner, was so welcoming and responsive to our needs. Our stay in her lovely home made our magical time in the Hamptons even better.

Our autumn stay was absolutely restorative. The property was quiet, set among lush gardens, and centrally located to so many great restaurants, attractions, and the shore. My family had fun being active, playing tennis, taking bike rides, as well as fully relaxing into the couch on the scenic patio. The hosts could absolutely not have been more kind and accommodating. They provided great recommendations and a full set of instructions which made the stay frictionless. They were also on standby and super responsive if we ever had a question.Lastly, we loved that it felt like a "real" house, not one that had been staged with the standard-issue short-term rental junk. There were "real" cleaning products on hand which was totally empowering. (How many VRBOs don't even have a functional broom and mop?) For anyone searching for no-fuss, authentic, relaxing retreat, look no further!!

Charming cottage in the Hamptons

This charming Hamptons cottage is a perfect getaway from the bustle of the city. It is ideally located, nestled between the gorgeous beaches of Sagaponack, the serene hiking trails of the nearby nature reserves, and the delightful shops/restaurants of Sag Harbor's Main St. The property is very well-maintained and clean, and has all the most desirable amenities. The hosts are incredibly friendly, helpful and responsive.

The perfect getaway

We had an amazing three weeks in Sagaponack. Margaret and John were welcoming, kind and responsive before, during and after our stay - always happy to answer any questions we had. The house is so well located and the pool, court, garden are all beautifully laid out, making it the perfect destination for our family of five. We'll definitely be back!

A Sagaponack gem!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay in Sagaponack. It is completely private, surrounded by greenery, countryside and tranquility. We loved playing tennis on the tennis court, walking in the surrounding countryside and bicycling to the beach. The house is large, well-equipped, clean, and pleasant to live in. Margaret is a thoughtful, kind and respectful host which made our stay even more enjoyable. We used the pool at the end of our stay as the weather warmed up - it is huge! Thank you Margaret and John for sharing your place with us - we look forward to returning again soon!

Highly recommend

My fiancé and I stayed in this lovely home for a month in Nov and we loved our stay. The location is perfect. We loved using the bikes to ride ten minutes to the beach. Is also located right near Wolffer vineyards and a short drive to Bridge Hampton, east Hampton and sag Harbour. The house was lovely and had everything we needed, we especially loved the tennis court and BBQ. The owners were so helpful and provided lots of information.

Lovely stay at a great location in the Hamptons

Wonderful host and house was everything we needed during out stay. Location is excellent if interest for short travel distances to Sag Harbor, East Hampton, Bridgehampton, etc. The setting of the house is wonderful and quiet. We had many most enjoyable evenings barbecuing at the house. The house itself is very cosy and well equipped with cooking tools, bicycles, etc. We would greatly recommend this place for anyone looking to spend some time in the Hamptons.

Our two children grew up spending summers in this house and we have had many years of wonderful family gatherings. We take alot of pride in our home and the landscaping we have done over the years, creating pretty flower beds and a lovely private setting.

We like the privacy of the property, yet it is easily convenient to the beach and nearby towns.

What makes this property unique

Our home is pretty and low-key and ideal for relaxing and enjoying the natural setting of the Hamptons. The sunlight is gorgeous from the south-facing deck.
Late in the day as the afternoon approaches sunset, the light turns golden in the living room and the dining room. It is a beautiful time of day there. It is well-priced for a home with modern appliances, on a large property with a pool and a tennis court, with privacy and a location convenient to the beach and local towns and shopping.
