9 of us stayed as a multi generational family for 2 weeks.On arrival we were shown around by the owners neighbours.The house supposedly sleeps 12! With en-suite bath/shower rooms. The photographs do not make it completely evident that some bathrooms do not have doors! Also, there is very little space for clothing etc that guests may bring. Such a disappointment having to keep clothes in your suitcases.We were treated to some beautiful cobwebs decorating many of the rooms, and unfortunately much of the cooking equipment needed cleaning before we could use it. Unfortunately the bbq also needed a good cleaning out too. We weren't offered fresh bedding or towels at the end of our first week and the weather was so hot, one really needed it!On a brighter note, the garden was fabulous , football, cricket, rounders and archery were enjoyed most evenings, and the children adored the pool. It was such a shame that we did not meet the host, who seemed to be really pleasant whenever I contacted him prior to our arrival, and on the couple of occasions during our stay.We did have a really great holiday at La Merenierre, and the fantastic weather was an absolute bonus.

Your feedback about cleanliness is very important — the cobwebs, and the fact that the kitchen utensils and the barbecue weren't perfectly clean, is completely unacceptable, and I apologize for that. Regarding changing the sheets and towels, I have to admit this was the first time the house was booked for two weeks, so I hadn't thought about that. Thank you for pointing it out — it will now be offered automatically going forward. That's also part of why storage space may feel limited: I'm gradually trying to find storage solutions that fit the overall design. Normally, half of the bedrooms have storage available, but it may not be clear enough that guests can use it. In any case, your feedback is valuable, and I'm glad you still had an enjoyable stay overall. Sincerely, Pascal

Excellent séjour dans cette belle demeure rénovée avec goût

Nous étions une famille de 12 personnes pour les fêtes dont une personne en fauteuil. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour à la Mérinerie. La communication avec Pascal a été parfaite de A à Z et le panier garni d'accueil a été très apprécié par tous !La cheminée a permis de nous réchauffer pendant les journées bien froides de fin décembre !L'accueil par Florence est impeccable.

Maison ancienne avec tout le confort actuel attendu

Un accueil aux petits soins. Pascal et sa voisine répondent quasi immédiatement aux questions. Bâtisse spacieuse dotée de tous les équipements nécessaires ; un grand parc entièrement clos ( ce qui est parfait avec de jeunes enfants et un animal de compagnie)…..bref rien à redire. Mais le vrai charme de cette maison c’est la confiance absolue que le propriétaire nous fait. On ne serait pas mieux reçu par un ami de longue date. Tout nous attend, exactement comme si on était chez nous et ça c’est le nec plus ultra de cette location. Merci Pascal

Comme chez un ami

Cette magnifique maison est un lieu formidable pour séjourner en famille. Très confortable et bien équipée elle permet de se retrouver dans un grand espace commun très convivial mais aussi de donner à chacun la possibilité grâce aux différentes chambres spacieuses à la literie accueillante de s'aménager des temps d'intimité et de tranquilité. Pascal met tout en oeuvre pour qu'on se sente comme chez un ami. Merci à Tatiana et à Florence pour leur accueil.

Grande maison à la campagne

Propriété au top!

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans la maison de Pascal. Propriété de caractère à la déco soignée, elle est également pratique et facile à vivre. Les photos de l’annonce sont conformes à la réalité. Pascal m’a donné toutes les infos utiles avant le séjour et l’accueil par ses voisines était très sympathique et flexible. Parfait!

Excellent séjour chez Pascal

Nous étions un groupe d'amis avec des enfants en bas âges et nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce gîte très charmant. Pascal est aux petits soins et très réactifs pour nos quelques demandes. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir !
