About this property

Relax at the sand shack

Comfortable beach home located in the well-kept Pirate Beach Subdivision. From the deck, you can feel the cool coastal breezes and take in the gorgeous view of the Gulf of Mexico. Sunbathe, swim, or just enjoy the sand and water. You are in the first block, and the beach is just four houses down.

You can rinse the sand off in the outdoor shower plus there is a half bath located at the ground level in the laundry room. Also, on the ground floor, there is a patio area with chairs and a barbeque grill.

An open concept—kitchen, living and dining area with large breakfast bar—are located on the first floor with three bedrooms (2 queen beds and 2 twin beds) along with two full baths. The kitchen is equipped with dishes, pots/pans, and small appliances as well as dishcloths and dish towels. Sheets and towels are provided for bedrooms and baths to accommodate six guests. The futon in the living area is available for additional guests if needed.

The toilet started leaking and they were guick to fix it. Host was very responsive. A bit far from the hot spots in Galveston, but that is ok. Not fancy but comfortable. Plenty of towels and beach things.

Owners very responsive and easy to contact. Beachhouse was cute, cozy and super clean. Nice big open living, kitchen, dining. It is well stocked with all the usual paper products, linens, etc, but had plenty of unexpected “extras”. We will definitely stay here again.

So glad you enjoyed your stay. The proximity to the beach is what the guests mention the most. It is relaxing when all that has to be done is simply walk out of the beach house door with your beach towel instead of loading up your car and heading to the beach in hopes that you haven't forgotten something.
