Load and start the dishwasher
Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
On sundays please take the two garbage bins under the stairs to the end of the driveway so the city can empty them Monday morning. Many thanks
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Park in the driveway or on the OCEAN side of the road in front. No Parking on the house side of the road , behind the property or on grass areas.
No Fire pits are allowed underneath the building or on patio deck. we do provide several bbq's to use Please RINSE OFF ALL BEACH GEAR Chairs, Umbrelas
SUNDAY - Please take garbage bins to Street before checkout or anytime sunday if staying. MONDAY bring bins under stairs-city empties them (noon ish)

Another great weekend here. We spent a lot of time on the porch enjoying the sights and sounds of the water. The house was spotless and the kitchen had everything we needed. Again, really enjoyed the ocean view and already looking forward to returning for a third time.

The location on the beach was amazing! To watch the waves on the porch was so relaxing. Kitchen was well stocked for everything you could want. It is a 10 minute drive to town so if you’re looking to walk to the action this would not be the place to stay. But if you’re looking for relaxing beach time with minimal people around this is the place for you!

House was clean, but it was definitely beat up. Location by the beach was amazing with easy access to town. Appreciated little things like all the hooks in the bathrooms for towels, plenty of toilet paper and paper towels, having beach chairs and the umbrella, and a quick and easy response to questions from the property manager.

We had a great family stay at this beach house. The home was very clean, and our boys loved the bunk beds and having their own room with a TV. The location was perfect for our trip, and the host was wonderful to deal with. Our cruise embarkation time was mid-afternoon, and he kindly allowed us a late checkout, which made a big difference for our family. We would absolutely stay here again.

Excellent location, the immediate beach area is off limits to vehicles, which keeps it quiet and very nice. We had some timing issues so did have to contact the host, who responded very quickly. 100% as advertised, great unobstructed ocean view with a great porch to see it from. There was nothing we needed that wasn't available to us, including some beach necessities. Perfect distance to shopping and food without being downtown, which was fairly busy. Everyone we did business with was super friendly and helpful in town. We rode horses on the beach, bought and flew a kite, rode the ferry to Port Bolivar (and saw dolphins!), and ate at some great places.Recommend: Katie's Seafood in the wharf, Starboard Side Cafe - a food truck that has amazing breakfast, Landry's Seafood, and Kites Unlimited.Would definitely stay again if we come back to the area.

The location and view were perfect! The house was clean, the kitchen had everything we needed, and we enjoyed the games for much needed laughs and family time. The host and property presented were great, communication was very good. We loved the location, however the construction on the beach right in front of the property was very annoying after mid-week, not the property owners doing, but the 24 hours of bulldozers with their back up beeping totally distracted from the enjoyment of the house. I would stay here again, with the hope and verification that the construction is completed.

Mundy and Andrew live in houston and have 3 wonderful children, Meg , Noah and Madeline. Andrew grew up in South Africa and spent many vacations at the beach fishing, scuba diving and hunting for crabs and shells as a child. He lived in Canada for many years and is so happy to be back near a beach again. Mundy grew up in Brenham texas and lived on a ranch for most of her youth... she loves the outdoors.
After we spent several vacations in Galveston we decided to find a special place we could call home... we hope you enjoy it as much as we do.

Why they chose this property

We live in Houston and have been renting houses in galveston for years and decided we wanted to keep coming back on a more regular basis.

It was important for us and our kids (little legs) to have a beach front property to minimise the walk to the beach and back. we wanted a quiet , pedestrian only beach, far enough away from the main tourist areas but close enough to grocery stores, restaurants and entertainment if we wanted to venture into town.

This small community of homes is perfect for our family and yours and great for kids who want to look for shells, fish, hunt for crabs, build sand castles
The water is shallow and the waves are small and easy for the children to play and swim in.

What makes this property unique

There is something about waking up to the sound of the waves, smelling the ocean air as you sip on your morning coffee relaxing on the covered porch watching the Pelicans fly by .
We love to cook and BBQ and the kitchen provides an ocean view and tends to be the social hub when were inside.
