Excellent location

We were two adults and two teenage boys. We loved the flat! Close to everything you would want to see in Porto. The owner, Pedro, provides a great service pointing out on an easily followed tourist map where the best place we're to go

Fantastic apartment. Fantastic owner

The beautiful apartment takes on a magical view at night over the glistening lights of Porto. It's location is perfect ..close to all the restaurants and hop on hop off bus stop. The best part is the owner Pedro who has great suggestions and tips to make your visit perfect. Tom and Bev USA

Above and beyond our expectations.

Our family of five was welcomed to Porto by Pedro, a very friendly man with lots of information about the city and the neighborhood. The apartment is exactly as it seems and the kitchen pantry was stocked with the basics. A nice addition was a refrigerator full of milk, juice, and butter. The local shops were very helpful. The apartment is in a good location-just a short walk to transportation...including the red tour bus, the train, and the sky tram. My three children were thrilled to find the toy box in one of the rooms and my husband and I enjoyed the view. The bonuses were the updates by Pedro on traffic and possible bus strikes through emails. There is plenty of entertainment for all kinds of interest in the area. We have shared the information about the apartment with most of our friends and want to return to this establishment in the future. This was by far the most enjoyable stay we have had of anywhere we have visited.

Wonderful cozy apartment

This apartment was the perfect place to stay for visiting Porto and Gaia. The view from the apartment of the Porto riverfront is phenomenal, and just outside the apartment there is access to restaurants, boat tours, a play ground, Port Wine tasting, small shops, and it's all within walking distance of Porto. We were very warmly greeted by Pedro and Rosário, like they are welcoming us into her own home. The apartment appears to be newly renovated. It was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to prepare our own meals there. Rosário had even provided us bread, juice, milk, port wine, and cookies. The river Douro is a source of constant interest with riverboats of all kinds, and an occasional helicopter. Amazing to step out from your apartment, walk 2 mins along the riverside and to step onto your day cruise boat for breakfast! One morning the Porto Half-Marathon happpened right outside our window! We also saw festival events - bands and broadcasts across the river. The port wine cellars are on the same street as the apartment so you can go for a different tasting every night if you wish! The station is within easy reach (walk with funicular and/or cable car - which goes right above the apartment!). It's easy to go on day trips - don't miss Guimaraes. Where else can you see from your window helicopters, trams, cruisers, rowing boats, bands, cable cars,and two incredible bridges. It's an incredible cityscape - have no doubt, it's the best location for seeing Porto and Gaia! I would recommend this apartment to anyone who wants to visit Porto and I would definitely stay at this apartment again.
