Lovely Villa, all bedrooms and bathrooms kitted out beautifully. If I was to provide some constructive feedback it would be that the kitchen could do with more cooking equipment, as there was limited pots and pans and oven trays. Which make it tricky if your cooking for 9 people. Location is as described, however be prepared for a steep hill, if it's hot it's a killer!!!!

Not good. The air con did not work properly in the middle floor which made the bedroom on that floor unusable. It took 3 days for an air con specialist to come. We had a conversation with Renny the host who was patronising and rude - he suggested it was something we had done and that the property was “cheap” and we were hiring a property “as is” and that it would take time to get an air con engineer as it was the summer. When we made the point that his agency was called “Luxury Villas Marbella” and they should have engineers available he got angry and said he could call his business whatever he wanted and that we couldn’t rent “a hostel in Marbella for what you’ve paid”. This was hurtful and rude. We would also point out that the sun lounger cushions were left dumped by the front gate for us to put on the sun loungers ourselves and the “Luxury Villas Marbella” beach towels were threadbare and old. When the air con engineer did arrive he informed us that it was not cooling down on the middle floor was because the unit was the size of one for a room - so while it was working it would never cool down an entire floor. The property is advertised as having air con throughout but the middle floor will never be comfortable. Beware! Also on arrival the coffee table had been moved to the garage by the previous guests. I was asked by the host to carry it upstairs which is not my job. The hosting was atrocious and the issue with the air con a big issue.

5 Star Villa Experience

The villa was absolutely stunning. We arrived before check-in and were able to get access to the villa. The property was immaculate and had all the mod cons. The pool was a perfect size and heated at our request. The pool table and table tennis table were added bonuses. All in all, a very enjoyable week was had. table tennis

Wonderful stay. Villa facilities were first class. Only downside was the construction work across the road which did not spoil our holiday in any way but suggest the owner should be more open and honest about this being there so that prospective quests are not surprised on arrival. Especially as this is not a cheap rental

Lovely property

Beautiful villa but major building work getting carried out in very close proximity. I specifically asked that before i booked and was told there wasnt building work close by. We were woken around 7am by noise of machinery and workmen. This spoiled the experience but would definitely return to stay in stunning villa once the building work in the surrounding area is complete.

Beautiful Villa High Rise construction & noise issues

The villa itself and location was great, really well equipped for the age range and outdoor bbq and seating suited all. Rooms and bathrooms are generous and spacious and modern. Unfortunately the pictures of the view from the villa are extremely out of date, our view was high rise brick and concrete construction with noise pollution at 6.45am every morning and heavy dust from the building site. It’s such a shame we really were not prepared for that and feel it should have been made clearers the drilling was full on and detracted from the quality of the actual villa.

Family holiday

The villa & location were great & suited all ages of the family. We had a fantastic time at Villa Casa Maya & this was despite the major building work directly opposite the villa. We had not been expecting such an extensive building site & we feel the description of the villa needs to be altered; unfortunately the spectacular views are no longer there. Also during our stay there was a 3 day all night music festival in La Cala de Mijas. The festival site was quite close to the villa which meant we had loud music from 7pm to 7am! It was also very busy & noisy at the beach & in town. We would advise that in future the villa is not rented out at this time or at least warn people when they are booking.

Exceptional

Villa is amazing. It was spotless, spacious and very comfortable. The area around the villa was quiet and very peaceful. A short walk down the hill you have 2 supermarkets then another 5 minutes takes you into the centre of Cala de Mijas and beach. The villa is very well equipped, 4 bedrooms have ensuite bathrooms with 1 separate bathroom so all bedrooms can have their own bathroom. Beds very comfortable. Outdoor sitting and dining area was lovely and well maintained. We used the BBQ and pool which we had heated as it was December. Many thanks to Selene who was in touch before we arrived and kept in touch during our stay to ensure we had a great time. She also met us when we arrived to show us around explaining everything we needed to know including air conditioning / heating / lighting / security alarm etc. We had a wonderful holiday and wouldn't hesitate to recommend this villa.

Fantastic Villa

Had a great time and this beautifully finished villa. Outside area and pool lovely to sit around. Everything you need in the kitchen. Good air con throughout. Enjoyed the outside music system, pool table and table tennis. Only recommendation is a bit more thought in some rooms are room could do with a chair or something to throw clothes over bathrooms could do with more towel rails. Just little thing easy work or cheap taxi ride into La Cala. Selene was always contactable and very helpful.
