We have stayed at this property before, so we knew what to expect, but it is such a lovely place to stay, it hit us all over again as soon as we walked in the door. The property has such a cosy, warm, inviting feel, and the breakfast welcome pack was well.. truly welcomed! Thank you Nick.

A very pretty property, a good size for a few days stay and reasonably comfortable although a little dated. A little constructive criticism, it would benefit from a clean coat of paint particularly downstairs and in the bathroom, which although the fittings were perfectly clean, the walls were rather mouldy and very marked.

Thanks James for your review. I have treated the patches of discolouration in the bathroom and plan some decoration works shortly. The winter period is when this can happen due to warm interior and cold exterior walls. However it is already improving with the drier air and spring cleaning. Many thanks Nick

We were looking for a quirky thatched cottage near Abbots Ann, Hampshire, for a few nights and this fit the bill. The beds were clean and comfy. Access was great. We were surprised that towels are not included in the rental but are 5 pounds per person. It’s a very historic cottage so expect this to match your memories from 1966 - cobwebs and all. Thoroughly enjoyable experience (especially breakfasts around the kitchen table!) but three nights with the wonky non-level floors and stairs was our happy limit.

Lovely thatched cottage

We had a lovely time, the house was great, the area beautiful with a couple of local pubs, great dog walks. Great for peppa pig world, Stonehenge, with Bournemouth, and Bath within easy reach.

Great Cottage

Lovely little cottage

Great Getaway Cottage

We had a short stay in this lovely cottage, very clean and cosy We loved the log burning stove , the comfy sofas and smart tv. The owner has put a lot of effort into making this cottage so beautiful and relaxing It is ideally located to visit the many interesting places close by, or you walk a couple of minutes to local pub where the staff are friendly and food good and reasonable Overall we had a great stay and would definitely recommend it
