Adorable Cottage in the heart of Eastsound

You are right in the center of our charming Village Eastsound.

Walk to cafes, shops, bars, bakeries, farmers market, bookstore, movie theater….

This 2 bed, 1 bath is appointed with wood floors, granite counters and European bedding. Fully equipped kitchen, WiFi, satellite TV, Community barbecue is available on patio with picnic table and chairs.
Two bedroom, one bath. First floor bedroom has a queen, upstairs bedroom has has a queen and twin. Bathroom is accessed thru first floor bedroom.

4 night min, we occasionally accept shorter stays, feel free to contact us.

This Cottage is nestled in a quiet Cottage community in the heart of Eastsound. Please be respectful of neighbors.

All toiletries provided are natural, biodegradable and cruelty free.

Complimentary organic muesli, non dairy milk, juice, organic locally roasted coffee, tea and a basket of snacks await your arrival. Everything is vegan.

Lovely cottage in Eastsound

We spent a week at the Elderberry Cottage, and it was wonderful. The cottage itself is roomy and well equipped, quiet and surrounded by beautiful flowers, and located within short walking distance to all the shops, bakeries & restaurants in Eastsound. Communication was smooth and quick during the reservation process, and information shared in great detail (importantly ferry info).

Everything you need for a perfect stay on Orcas

Several days later and my parents and I are still talking about how perfect our stay was at this adorable cottage! It has everything you need and is in such an ideal location on Orcas Island. Really couldn’t have asked for more, highly recommended.

Sweet and convenient Orcas Island cottage

We had a lovely stay at Lydia’s property in the heart of Eastsound. It was a perfect location to access all that Eastsound had to offer on the 4th of July weekend. It comfortably slept 5, but it is worth noting the only bathroom is within one of the bedrooms. We loved the homemade granola provided and especially loved the garden in full bloom on the premises. If you’re looking for a stay with easy access to town, this is your place. We walked around town daily for coffee, groceries, and dinner and we had a dedicated parking spot so we could hop in our vehicle and explore the island.

Cute cottage

We really liked the location right in town within 5 minute walk to just about all the shops and eateries in Eastsound. There is a lovely central garden surrounded by a cluster of cottages. Beds were comfy and the kitchen is small but fully functional. The stairs are steep to the upper bedroom, but if that is a problem you can sleep downstairs. Al in all, a really nice place to stay.

The cottage is adorable with all essentials and beautiful gardens. More attractive than the pictures. Quiet yet conveniently located in the small town of East Sound, walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants, small grocery store, boutiques and the waterfront. The host was responsive. We were charmed by the experience and look forward to returning.

Lovely cottage just a few blocks from everything in Eastsound

Lydia's cottage was a wonderful place to stay while we were visiting Orcas. We were attending a wedding, with several events taking place in Eastsound (at the Outlook Inn, etc.). Everything was just a few minutes walk away. The cottage is quiet and tucked away, with an open field behind it. We didn't have a chance to visit Pebble Cove Farm this time, but we've been in the past, and it's just magical! We look forward to visiting Orcas again soon.

Perfect place to explore Orcas from!

We loved staying here because it is adjacent to coffee shops, restaurants, shopping and grocery store. It is located at the north end of Eastsound in a group of identical cottages. Very quiet and relaxing. Only 10 minute drive to Moran State Park. Easy access to Eastsound water front and Crescent Beach and there is also a 1 mile walking path to North Beach. The cottage was perfect for a family of 3 to 4. Very clean and charming! Second bedroom has two beds in an upstairs loft. Kitchen has all amenities and there is also a washer and dryer for clothes. The only bathroom is accessed through the master bedroom. Overall, it worked great for us as we spent the days exploring the island and came back late afternoon to relax and walk around town. Would definitely stay here again.

Lovely Cottage

The cottage was lovely! The beds were comfy and the kitchen was well stocked, but not crammed with things which made cooking a pleasure. The homemade granola was delicious and we enjoyed playing the games upstairs. The cottage is perfectly tucked away so it was quiet, but is in walking distance of all the shops, restaurants, historical museum, and park. Staying in Eastsound made it easy to travel to both sides of the island to explore. We can't wait to return to the island!

Family wedding weekend

We were on Orcas to celebrate a family wedding. The location was ideal-we walked to the wedding and it was a perfect home base for all of the other activities. Our daughter s have both spent a number of years at Camp Orkila, so it was perfect to visit all of their favorite places. Only downside with the place is that the bathroom is off of the master/main floor bedroom. Hosts were amazing! They provided snacks too-great spot!

Charming place perfect for family visit

I stayed here with my daughter and son. We loved the amenities (lotion, juice, soy milk), the mint condition of the cottage, and the location walkable to everywhere in town. It’s perfectly sized for 3-4 people, and the home made granola made the best breakfast!

Sweet cottage in Eastsound

We loved Lydia's cottage in Eastsound the instant we saw it. There's always a moment of breath-holding when you hope you didn't miss some between-the-lines issue. But this cottage delivered on all levels-cute, clean, well-stocked and located between super charming Eastsound and a secondary trail along backroads to the sound, which enabled us to walk off a tiny portion of Brown Bear Cafe's obscenely irresistible treats. We normally enjoy cooking, but there was way too much good food to be had in the area. It was an EXPENSIVE weekend, but we rationalized that the pandemic kept us from going on an expensive vacation this year. On our last of 4 days, we found amazing sandwiches at the grocery store which we liked better than the ones we got from Voyager, for 2x the price.

Perfect Location, Very Comfortable

Everything was spotless and prepared when we arrived. I had my teenage daughter and her best friend with me. They shared the room upstairs which was perfect. Only challenge was the lone bathroom is only accessed through the bedroom on the main floor. Very sweet community of houses. Everyone quiet and respectful. Will definitely seek to stay again.
