Modern Home with Stunning Water View

This delightful home located in Eastsound on Orcas Island is modern, clean, and full of light. It features main floor living with the primary bedroom (king-size bed) and bath on the same floor as the living, dining, and kitchen. On the lower floor you'll find a TV room, second bedroom with two twin beds a comfy window seat, and full bath. The separation from the main floor to the lower level is very accommodating for people who want a little privacy from other guests or just some quiet time to themselves.

Nightly rates are based on two people. It's $20/night for each additional guest over two.

Pet fee is $65

Incredible location close to the best bars and restaurants in town. Stocked kitchen to cook a delicious meal for the 4 of us. Comfortable beds and very clean, would rent again.

Spectacular views. Feeling of being on top of a mountain. Close to town. Didn't like the driveway area Need to create a little more space on the other side of road and some tall yellow poles in front of electrical boxes Need to add hand rail on side of steps. I am surprised inspector allowed that to pass.

Wonderful get away!

We booked The Lookout last minute for our Spring Break get away. Couldn't have been a better stay. Lovely property, quiet and tucked away but very close to the shops and restaurants in Eastsound. Would love to visit again during the summer months!

Great Way to Experience Orcas

The place is just outside Eastsound, has a wonderful view of the sound, and is clean and well-stocked. We’ve been staying in places on Orcas for years and this is now one of our favorites.

Great Spot With A Great View

Really happy with the house and the views out across the water were fantastic. House is laid out in a way that it would be great for a family or a pair of couples as you have your own spaces when needed. Kitchen was well stocked and beds were really comfortable. Our dog really enjoyed hanging out on the top deck and sniffing the sea breezes 😀

The house is beautiful, just as pictured. Very clean and has everything you need. Easy into town takes 7 min. Tina was very responsive. Kitchen has everything you need- which is good bc you will want to spend time at the house!

The Best Weekend

This may be the best VRBO experience we have ever had! Upon arrival, the view from the floor to ceiling windows was spectacular! Everything was as advertised and more, and we wanted for nothing. Our host was always prompt with her communications and told us everything we needed to think about to enhance our stay. I would definitely request to stay here again if the opportunity arises.

Beautiful & Well-Appointed Orcas Home Base

We stayed at this property in February 2025 with an 8-month old baby and found it incredibly suited to our needs. It was easy to find from the ferry, very conveniently located near downtown Eastsound and all of the restaurants and shops, and extremely well outfitted. We had everything needed to cook, store and reheat food. The house had books for our little ones and puzzles for mom & dad. There were umbrellas, beach towels, and all of the cleaning supplies needed to keep up with a baby on the move. The beds and bathrooms were comfortable and the view each morning was stunning. This home is right on the flight path for incoming seaplanes, and we enjoyed tracking their arrivals from the kitchen windows. Excellent stay! Great for a family who will spend a decent amount of time at home in between exploring the island(s).

You cannot ask for a better, serene stay to explore Orcas Island

To start, the place is immaculate and we are fussy fussy gals. Our host thought of everything. The view is spectacular- hard to stay in the very comfortable bed when you can sip your coffee staring out over the water and pines. We never cook on holiday but we actually did one night as the kitchen (with the view) is perfectly stocked. Don’t hesitate. We did not need the 2nd bedroom downstairs but it was a perfect place to spread out during our 5 night stay. Space in main bedroom with comfortable king bed is limited. Note: do not miss the beautiful 3.9 mile hike around Mountain Lake or the view From atop Mount Constitution.

Wonderful home....

All the five star reviews are so deserved! What a special place. The view is breathtaking and changes throughout the day, evening, rain, shine, full moon. As a hobby photographer, watching the light on the water and hillsides was mesmerizing. Eagles can be seen soaring nearby, many other birds darting through the trees. Lovely sounds in the morning and evening. Great location -- easy to walk into town, or drive down either side to Moran or Turtleback for hiking. It is a quiet residential area, peaceful and perfect for getting away, winding down. The home was so clean, modern, and yet cozy. Tina has thought of everything and shared many helpful tips for places to see and food to try. If you get sucked into the view from the sofa on a rainy day, there are plenty of games, and movies galore. The electricity went out one night on the island and, of course, there was a labeled bin in the entry that said: "flashlights". : ) So many thoughtful details like that. Great kitchen, everything you could need, coffee every which way. And cooking to the amazing view, what a bonus! Would return in a heartbeat... Thank you for sharing your beautiful home, Tina!

Great home base for a week of adventure. The house has everything that you need - a view, comfortable furniture, and so many DVDs. The house is in walking distance to so many of the restaurants and shops of Eastsound. The house comes equipped with a single cup, French Press, and traditional drip coffee.

My son Reed and I built this home in 2013/2014. It's a labor of love and a dream come true for me. A long time visitor to the island since 1998 when I was married at Rosario Resort. After visiting several times a year we got an opportunity to own a little place of our own here on this beautiful island.
I wanted it to feel like a getaway and be completely different from our home in Bellingham, hence the modern design and bright colors. It's fun and always puts a smile on my face. I also wanted to capture the amazing view and have a whole wall of windows facing south to the inlet of Eastsound. Having all the window focused on just one wall also provides an amazing amount of privacy. You can't help but stare out the window where you can see eagles soaring and the occasional small plane flying into town.
