Looking for a cozy getaway in the "Moose Viewing Capital of Colorado"? Welcome to the Majestic Moose Cabin! This 380-square-foot retreat is located in town, newly refinished while still showcasing the character and charm of its historic roots. The open one-room layout includes a full bathroom, cozy kitchenette, dining space, and a comfortable living area. Sleeping arrangements feature a custom queen-sized murphy bed and sofa (if additional sleeping space is needed), making it a perfect stay for couples.

Enjoy your fresh caught trout and/or some elk steaks in the backyard on the BBQ grill! Or, if cooking isn't your specialty, the cabin is within walking distance to local restaurants/bars!

While you are in Walden, be sure to keep an eye out for one of our majestic moose!

*No smoking/vaping/marijuana use is allowed in the cabin. *
**Dogs welcome (maximum of 2) with prior approval and agreement to Pet Addendum. $25 pet fee.**

This property is truly a gem. The hosts are attentive and the property is cozy, comfortable and well stocked. You can always tell when property owners really care and this one has all the hallmarks and small touches - just delightful.The neighborhood is safe and easy to get to, the bed was very comfortable, the location was quiet and within a block of the best restaurants in town and it was easy to get the temperature just right for sleeping. We will definitely stay here again when in Walden.

This was an adorable place to stay in Walden! The home was cozy and well decorated, and our host was friendly and very responsive! The bed is a hideaway that folds back up onto the wall, but it was very comfortable and we were able to fit ourselves and two pups in the home with no issue. Thank you so much for hosting us!

My husband and I moved to Walden on our 1st wedding anniversary 27 years ago from the corn and wheat fields of Nebraska and Kansas. We fell in love with this area and have been blessed to raise our 2 sons here! They both go to Colorado Mesa University and we are excited to welcome a new daughter-in-law to our family in June! We love to Jeep, go for long Harley rides, visit our boys, and watch college sports!

I love being able to share this beautiful area with others!

The Majestic Moose Cabin carries a rich history—once serving as an office space, jewelry store, and even a storage spot for oil barrels when it was part of an old gas station! Today, it has been fully restored, preserving its one-of-a-kind character and charm.
