Our spacious Studio Apartment features oceans views. This unit has a private ocean view balcony. This is the perfect place for a cozy retreat. There is a queen bed, sofa and comfy chair. Our full sized kitchen if fully equipped. The bathroom features a tub shower combo.

This property has a small, private deck plus it shares a 60 x 90 foot ocean front patio with our other 2 properties. There are tables & chairs and chaise lounges. You can use the ocean front charcoal grills. There is also a hot and cold water outdoor shower.

Conveniently located at Mid Beach- about 1/2 mile from the Pier and 1/4 mile from the light house.

PLEASE NOTE THAT DUE TO BEACH EROSION, THE BOARDWALK LOCATED AT 2ND STREET HAS BEEN CLOSED. THE ACCESS AT 3RD STREET IS OPEN. WE ALSO HAVE DIRECT BEACH ACCESS OVER THE DUNES FROM OUR PATIO. BUT THE FINAL STEP IS STEEP.

A fun getaway!

The studio apartment had a great view, and I loved seeing the huge ocean barges coming and going on their way to Savannah. Being right on the beach made it easy to get up for sunrises and beach walks, as well. The apartment is a nice size for one or two people and was clean and comfortable. Great air conditioning, which was wonderful coming in from the beach or biking. The bed was extremely comfortable, too. Most of all, the property owners were friendly, easily accessible and eager to make sure I had a great stay. I would choose this spot again.

Dated but comfortable. Sliding door very stiff to open and close. Location good - can watch sunrise from balcony and see the ocean. Eroding beach at the adjoining public access could present issues going forward.

Quiet Paradise

Everything was wonderful, enjoyed quiet alone time. I very much needed time to recharge my batteries and just chill. This was the perfect place to do it. Hosts were great and easy to reach. No complaints at all, would love to enjoy a return trip to Oceanwatch #3!

Good location, needs some updates

I have heard that some updates to the property will be coming soon. It is very close to the beach and having parking available is a huge bonus. We could hear talking/conversing from the people in the adjoining property, and would have been nice to post photos of the bathroom; it's a bit small, but overall for just me and my wife, everything was just ok.

On the beach

Location was spot on, literally on the beach and the beach area was not by pier so it wasn’t crowded. The “apt” was literally one room with a queen bed mattress that had seen better days (I put extra pillows under the sheet as it sagged in the middle) the a/c wall unit was loud so I was glad I had ear plugs, For the size of this unit I think the “extra fees” were out of line too

This is a one bedroom studio. In a studio there is no wall between the bedroom and the living room. It is the same sq footage of a 1 bedroom. Apparently the previous owner took down the wall between the bedroom and the living room so that he could see the ocean from the bed. We just decided to leave it that way too. I am so sorry about the bed. We found that the middle support had been knocked out of place. That results in the bed sagging in the middle. It may have happened when the housekeeper was mopping under the bed. I wish I had checked with you during your stay. It was a 10 minute fix.

Excellent location!

The studio was in a very nice location! The only suggestion I can offer is the floors need to be mopped with vinegar and Mr. Clean! As I am a professional cleaner for 22 years I know the tricks! I'm sure the house keeper has no Idea what is going on as they floors appeared beautiful but when you are barefoot they are slick. A good vinegar mopping and they would be spotless. Otherwise everything was perfect!!

Overall, my stay was great. The only bummer was that the pics of the listing seem to be old and don't reflect the current view from the condo or the access to the beach. They've built dunes between the condo and the beach, and the only way to access the beach is to walk 3 blocks down the street (about 5 mins). From the unit, you view the dunes and parking lot while sitting down with your coffee and can't really hear the ocean. If you stand, you can see the ocean, though. Despite this, I had a good time, and the beach was lovely. I was just looking for a place that looked like the pic, where I was only a few steps away from the sand. Apparently the whole island is covered in dunes now, so there's not really much you can do about it if you go to Tybee. I may have chosen to go to a different spot if I'd known, though, tbh.
