My family and I make the trip at least once a year, we loved staying in this home. It is clean and very welcoming, the pool was an amazing addition to go with it. The communication with the host is absolutely incredible. Thank you for the stay!

I’m happy to share a wonderful experience at this property. This home is located in a beautiful quiet neighbourhood close to all amenities and beaches, The home is fully equipped with everything you need and very clean! Beds were very comfortable and the property is very well maintained. The backyard is a beautiful oasis with many loungers and chairs and a table. The heated pool is beautiful and fully enclosed with lights for evening swims and the lounge area is also lit so we were able to enjoy late evenings outside.Thank you Andy for sharing your beautiful home with us, looking forward to our next stay!

Unfortunately there were palmetto bugs in the house and we only stayed one night. There were some dead bugs around too which is why cleanliness was rated poor.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry your stay didn’t meet your expectations. As our home is in Florida, an occasional palmetto bug can make its way indoors despite regular professional pest control. We also apologize that a dead bug was missed during cleaning, as this does not reflect the standard we strive to maintain. We appreciate your feedback and remain committed to providing a clean and comfortable stay for our guests.

Andy was a great host. We had a minor issue with one of the beds and he had it fixed in a timely manner. The house was even better than we expected. The pool was also a great perk and not too cold. Location was close to the beaches, shopping and restaurants. We very much enjoyed our time there and would recommend to anyone looking for a nice place to stay.

Great stay

Plenty of sunny days with some rain good for catch up days. Great hideaway from busy streets with the private feel you crave on vacation. Everything you would want or need was at the house or within a close drive. The pool was always inviting! Our host was always reachable and very accommodating…

Nice place

Comfortable and clean accommodations for a couple or small family. The location makes accessibility to all of the attractions the greater Venice area has to offer (beaches; restaurants; parks; etc.) very easy, yet it is also close to local stores and facilities associated with longer visits (groceries; hospital; gyms; hobby shops; etc.). Common home amenities (i.e. kitchen utensils, silverware and dishes; towels and linens; toilet paper; cleaning supplies; etc.) for our stay in May were sufficient, although any common kitchen spices (except salt and pepper) were oddly absent. The pool area was very nice, with plenty of seating, but pool water temperature averaged 90 deg F during our 2 week stay, despite the attempts of the owners to disconnect or bypass the solar heating system. The house also included many toys (beach chairs; swim noodles; bicycles), a gas grill, and use of the garage; however, because the owners store their own vehicle and many other household items in the garage, only a motorcycle or a very small car might fit into it (we parked outside).

Cute house in quiet neighborhood. Close to everything including several beaches, and grocery stores. Very clean - they did a good job with a recent remodel. Everything is up to date. Plenty of household materials including pots, pans, coffee makers, towels, etc. Host was very responsive and even allowed us to get in an hour early which was very appreciative. Pool was on the smaller side but we didn’t need anything bigger, it worked out perfect.
