Thank you for your review. We are glad you thought the house is beautiful and you enjoyed those gorgeous views. We will pass your feedback re the sunbeds back to the owner as there is a regular programme of renewal in place. The WIFI is the best that can be had in the mountains but the owner has been actively exploring ways of extending it to the pool, since this has become important to many guests, so this should hopefully be in place for 2023. I am afraid this year with the intense heat insects in this rural location have been more prolific than usual, in all areas. In terms of the location, this is a mountain property, and therefore very rural, and of course not flat like the Netherlands and I am sorry you have children that get car sick. The places you chose to visit are a bit of a distance but as per the local information pack (which you may not have downloaded) there are so many places to go to locally. NB For future gests do note, although in the mountains there are 3 great restaurants within a 3 or 4 min drive, and more in Camporgiano just a 5 minute drive away and others further afield. There is a supermarket at Camporgiano a 5 min drive away and a large supermarket 15 mins away in Castelnuovo where there are also lots of local shops. The caves are a 50 minute drive as mentioned in the review, but there is plenty to see and visit closer than the caves, and we provide a detailed information pack. For example the stunning fortress of Verrucole with interactive attractions just an 8 min drive, the zip wire and adventure park only a 5 min drive, and for those enjoying river swimming you can do this just 3 mins away, and also do wine tasting only 5 mins away too. There are the market towns of Castelnuovo 18 mins away and stunning Barga 30 mins, and of course a wonderful day out at Lucca an hour's drive. These towns are reachable down the valley road so apart from the first 10 mins, relatively straight. One can also take many mountain style drives if one wishes, to lots of villages, little lakes and so forth. The area is stunning.
