We had a positive experience at this property. The location, cleanliness and maintenance of the whole complex was exemplary. The pool area and gardens were beautifully maintained which added to our experience. The apartment was spacious, comfortable with excellent views of both the pool and the sea, and the walk along the promenade to the Marina in Duquesa was only five minutes away.
Internally, whilst the size and the aspect of the property were really good, we do feel that some of the fixtures and fittings were rather tired and in certain areas dangerous.
For example, in the main bedroom and bathroom area the drawers within the chest of drawers did not have any safety stop mechanism on them, thereby potentially being a danger if an adult or child inadvertently pulled them straight out. Also, in the main bathroom, the left sliding door also does not have a stop and needed to be handled very carefully to stop it coming away completely.
The bath waste plug was not operational by the turn handle above so we needed to use a knife to remove the stopper to release the water.
Whilst the oven worked fine, it is worth pointing out that there is only one shelf in it, which made it very difficult to cook properly.
We also noticed that there was no iron in the apartment, so we contacted Duquesa Estates who arranged one for us immediately. Our dealings with Duquesa Estates were excellent, however, maybe the property owners should consider giving their apartment a face lift.
