The farmhouse, built entirely of stone, was constructed around 1826 and served as the home of the steward of a prominent manor house. Over time, the farmhouse has undergone continuous improvements, transforming it into a splendid, lovingly renovated holiday home equipped with every comfort. Situated on a gentle hill, it offers a splendid view of the Valdichiana stretching all the way to Monte Amiata and the city of Cortona. It’s an excellent starting point for visiting the most famous art cities of central Italy and is just a stone’s throw from the Cortona Archaeological Park. A short 15-minute walk takes you to a butcher shop, mini-market, café, and pharmacy. The fully fenced property consists of a two-story main farmhouse and an annex, nestled within an olive grove of 100 trees, which also features a beautiful garden with a lawn and a swimming pool set among centuries-old olive trees. The winter garden features a dining and relaxation area ideal for all seasons, with sliding glass doors and a splendid view of the surrounding countryside. The farmhouse is laid out as follows: a large dining room with a solid wood table, an extensive English-language library, and a spacious living room with a fireplace, sofa, ceiling fan, and mini-bar.
