Ideal house and surroundings.

Perfect for less mobile people as the bathroom and one bedroom are on the ground floor, with step-free access, and a bathroom with sit-down shower. Lovely terrace and garden, peaceful, great views, handy for Llangollen (but you need a car). Well furnished, and well equipped kitchen.

A lovely location with sweet owners

A lovely location with sweet owners. The house is situated on a main road, but despite that, it is a pleasant place to stay. A museum steam train runs through the backyard, which is beautiful to watch pass by. Washing machine and dryer are available. Wonderful beds! We had hot days during our stay, and the rooftop bedroom is relatively warm then.

Scenic, central location

Lovely spacious cottage, clean and tidy throughout, lovely views from the patio deck and from the upstairs window. Kitchen clean and modern with great facilities, only negative walk in shower took a long time to clear, so probably needs some attention, plus upstairs windows outside was full of flies on our visit so a good clean is needed. overall we had a really lovely stay and Simon and Katherine were very friendly and helpful. would definitely recommend, as very central location.

Like a home away from home in a beautiful setting and convenient location.

The unit is set up and furnished like someone's home - sturdy, comfortable furniture, great lighting for working or reading, all the kitchen appliances & equipment you could need, good heating, strong water pressure and heat - so it was relaxing to come home from a full day of sightseeing and relax. The setting was perfect - sheep fields, trees, vistas - combined with the convenience of access to the A5 and a nearby town with supermarket, gas, shops, restaurants, etc. Very helpful info book.

Beautiful cottage and scenery

Lovely owners who had thought of everything that you would need for your stay. Peaceful location with lovely scenery to look onto. Garden perfect for our big dog Hudson. Loved the main bedroom with the huge windows looking onto farmers fields. Just 10 minutes to Llangollen. Returning in May.

Fantastic stay with great friends in a beautiful setting.

The cottages were presented so nicely and homely we especially loved the photos to show the history of the properties. Beautiful walk right from the door and the squirrels kept us entertained in the garden! Highly recommended and will definitely return.

Spent a few nights here in winter. Beds were warm and comfy and the cottage was perfect for our needs and spotless. A big thanks to our hosts for the fresh eggs too and for showing us everything in detail on arrival.
