A perfect welcome to the perfect cottage located in the most beautiful spot. Everything I needed was there. The cottage was superb. Helen and Claire made me welcome and went above and beyond, recommending walks and providing me with everyhing to make the most of a short stay. I would highly recommend this cottage and location. A short walk into town, but in the country, surrounded by birdsong and views, with great walks in your door step.
Great stay, fantastic location for weekend in Llangollen, great base for trip with friends. Comfortable and well equipped, good shower. Only one bathroom including toilet which could be a drawback considering it sleeps 6 but there was only 4 of us and outdoorsy, activity weekend meant we were all fairly low maintenance! Parking in the church car park was only 8 for 24 hours and 2 minute walk. Highly recommend the Corn Mill for dinner.
Beautiful newly renovated property. The kitchen contained everything you could possible need. Comfortable bed and pillows. Powerful shower. Your hosts are helpful with lots of local knowledge. Loved the homemade cakes and wine. Would recommend to everyone. Lots to see and do. I particularly enjoyed my visits to Shrewsbury.
Modern spotless place exactly as described. Self check-in and no problems so had a quite few days.
They supplied a few basics so everything we needed.
Loved the fruit cake they left for us and the milk as a nice touch.
It's not often, that the place matches the description. The property do!
We all really enjoy our state in the house. It is well-designed: two spacious rooms, huge entry hall, two bathrooms and the big kitchen. The house is extremely well-equipped with everything what you need to stay (starting from washing machine, finishing cutlery and wine opener). In the same time, the place wasn't cluttered by unnecessary stuff, but has a few elements giving it the character. The location is very peaceful. I was a bit disappointed that the weather didn't allow any star gazing. The hosts are a lovely couple, very helpful, living next door, but not intrusive. They prepared a very appropriate welcome pack.
The only disadvantage of this beautiful place is the entry road and the amount of sheep poo on it. It makes the surface really slippy, even for high class 4x4, so be careful. Also, is make a walk down to the village, not too nice.
A great place to retreat and unwind. Lot's of walks and places to see close by. Dave and Rachel were great hosts and happy to help with ideas on activities.
