Pleasant overnight stay

We were looking for a bolt-hole while on a mini-tour of the Eastern Counties and these rooms fitted the bill well. Easy check-in with door codes organised by text, clear instructions throughout. Accommodation was very clean, shower downstairs is OK if you're the short side ;) Great to have a kitchen to use, including a fridge and separate seating area.

There was a hick-up, but customer care was excellent

I booked and arrived in the middle of the night, the room had not been cleaned after the prior guest. Obviously there had been some mistake. So the stay was not the best, but I reached out to Helen the next day, she responded quickly and gave me a full refund. Pluss it turns out that she had tried to call my the night before to check that everything was OK, which is very reassuring to know that you are taken care of in the middle of the night. Code locks worked. I would stay here again!

Bricksage Rooms

The property is only 0ne hundred yards from the railway station which is ideal for the train traveler. Comfortable bed and good shower. There is a kitchen /dining area with free tea/coffee. I took food for breakfast which was good. Short walk to public car parks and town centre. Good bus and train service in the area.
