About this property

Villa Alegre - Lovely Holiday Villa with Private Pool in Sesimbra

With typical Portuguese architecture, villa Alegre is a refuge for a relaxing holiday.

It is located in a quiet residential area in the center of the Setúbal Peninsula. Close to everything, away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

The house is cozy and classically decorated, with noble materials and pieces reminiscent of long journeys abroad.

The open-plan living and dining rooms are bright and face the garden.

The kitchen is well-equipped, and the rooms are spacious and comfortable.

Everyone's favorite spot is the porch, where a large wooden table and sofas have been placed for lounging.

Wonderful villa

It was even more beautiful than on the pictures. We stayed with 10 friends and had an amazing time. The outside area is perfect. It is a bit far away from the city but uber and bolt is super easy and cheap. 30/07/26 The sofa bed is a bit small for adults

Great Stay At Villa Alegre

Property is as seen in the pictures, the surrounding grounds of the property are well kept with a beautiful garden. The pool is great and the sun does a good job of keeping the water temperature just right during our August stay. The bedrooms are all large and the kitchen has all things required to prep and cook all food as needed for large groups. Some small improvements could be made to the outdoor shower and some of the tiles that surround the pool. However, this doesn’t make for a bad experience experience, all in all the property was great 16/08/26

Peaceful Getaway with Amazing Host and Pool

We absolutely loved our stay here! The house is so spacious and comfortable, and the pool and outdoor area quickly became our favorite spot to relax. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, and while the grocery store is about a 15–20 minute walk without sidewalks the whole way, ordering groceries was super quick and easy. Check-in was a breeze even though we arrived late at night. Andreia, the manager, met us in person, showed us around, and made us feel instantly welcome. She was simply amazing throughout our stay, always quick to respond and ready to help with anything we needed. 07/08/25 The fridge/freezer was a bit small for a group of eight, and we had a little confusion at first about how to handle trash pickup. Other than that, it was a fantastic experience!

About the host

Hosted by Allure Villas

Host profile image
Passionate about landscapes, new cultures, and adventures, we started to rent our own villa in 2012 to finance family trips.

Because we didn’t find any companies that provided a complete service on the Lisbon coast, we took care of all the details for our guests to have the best satisfaction.

The idea attracted some neighbors and friends who wanted to be part of our new project.
Thus, we built our local network of hosts, maintenance, cleaning, and laundry providers.

We proudly and with great enthusiasm founded Allure Villas thanks to the owners’ involvement, our satisfied guests’ feedback, and word of mouth.

Today, we operate more than 200 units along the beautiful Portuguese shorelines. We keep selecting unique properties that cover all accommodation types.

Our villas are handpicked and negotiated based on exclusive contracts, subsequently inspected and photographed by our local teams, seeking to maintain a high standard according to our guests’ needs and expectations.

Why they chose this property

The villa is located in Quinta do Conde, where you can find a wide range of shops, bakery, butcher, bank, post office, supermarkets and for those who like to cook their own fish/seafood, there are nearby fish markets at Sesimbra or Setúbal.
The region has excellent wine cellars that you can visit. Wine, cheese and the small Swiss roll (tortas) are the specialties that you can find in a small village nearby called Azeitão.
Sesimbra, the closest city, is famous for its fish and shellfish restaurants.
Lagoa de Albufeira and Meco beach are the closest beaches, 15 minutes by car.
For golfers, there are 2 recommended championship golf courses: Quinta do Peru (4 km) and Aroeira (19km)
