I would absolutely recommend this place 100% and more for many reasons.
I would absolutely recommend this place 100% and more for many reasons. The cottage is amazing, well equipped , immaculately clean and has everything you could need for your stay. The hosts/owners Sharon and Steve are the most welcoming friendly people you could ever wish to meet . If you want to learn about farm life then this is a fantastic place to learn for the kids . Getting up and on the farm to feed the calves for 8:30am every day was brilliant for the kids , to see and help the owners to feed the calves , straw in the pens (if that’s the right word) We stayed for 2 nights and helped out for both morning and teatime feeds learning the process and getting involved . On and evening enjoying the sample from the micro brewery on site and meeting the friendly locals visiting I can’t rate this place enough for the friendliness , facilities and amenities. If you love the sound of cows mooing and the farm smells then this place is for you. My kids want to go back every month l, if I could get a week off a month I would be back . Thankyou for allowing us to experience this and hoping to come back soon.
A beautiful, clean and tidy accommodation with no expense spared. So warm and welcoming. Hosts were also so friendly and accommodating prior and during our stay. Lots of little extra touches, to welcome your arrival, fresh eggs and ultra fresh milk on tap which could be refilled at any time. Perfect for what we needed. Sedgefield lovely for a mooch about too, with lots of places to eat and drink. Thank you, we will definitely book again x. Lovely to see the cows each morning too xx
Beautiful cottage with everything we needed, comfortable, clean and warm. Lovely host who kept in touch during our stay. We got to sample the beer from the micro-brewery, milk from the cows and fresh eggs. We will definitely be coming back.
