This property is beautiful, and is clearly owned and loved by people who stay there themselves. The villa is roomy; The view from the villa is fabulous; The pool facilities are really nice for an afternoon of relaxation (you can also buy food & drinks there). The villa furniture is authentic, beautiful, sturdy and not your typical "rental unit" quality. The property mgmt company is excellent! ... very helpful, very attentive, and available on WhatApp when/if you need them. We had a wonderful stay here!

Paradise Nest

Awesome stay. The apartment is literally a paradise with a wonderfull view and is very good equipped. Also very kind host who gave us many recommendations what to see on the island.

Unique Prperty and an amazing Location

Woderful holiday and excellent attention from the management team; the property was all that we wanted and more besides; great views from the terrace over the sea the sunsets were amazing; needless to say we will return.

Paradise Nest

Clio was great at communicating and providing local information. The cottage was everything we had hoped for. The patios were fantastic for relaxing and enjoying peaceful scenery.

Great location, would recommend

Above all, Clio was an excellent property manager and went above and beyond to help us with any queries we had, we thank her for everything she did for us. The apartment is set in beautiful, quiet countryside close to amenities and shops. The pool is excellent and very close by. The apartment was spacious and clean.

Beautiful view

Upon arrival Clio our host was very helpful.She provided helpful information about the island and recommendations. The hill is steep to get to the property, if you struggle to walk you will need a car! Staying at paradise nest you were able to use the hotel nearby (a 2 min walk) Dionysos. The view is beautiful from here, you are made to feel welcome, the pool is great and the facilities are kept tidy and clear. The bar food is tasty (I wouldn't fault anything with Dionysos). Paradise Nest has a rustic charm, set away from any noise it has captivating sunsets, and a fantastic view. The terrace is excellent for entertaining. Inside the property it could do with a re-fresh, some of the spare linen had stains on, and the sofas are worn and very uncomfortable. The shower isn't great, inconsistent temperature (very hot one moment and cold the next). It could do we a little less furniture in the rooms, and main living area (art on the walls are strange considering there is a cross which also hangs on the wall). The location is fab, Lassi has many restaurants to go to. Two faults that I feel must be mentioned, is the animal welfare around the property. Take care of the cats, get them neutered (a kitten had died by the terrace whilst staying) they are in a very tragic condition. Chickens had no water, and a freshly hatched chick had no means of getting out of the crate to get a drink. A discrepancy in payment (accepting the offer made) was not honoured. Disappointing end.

First of all, all the necessary house information and characteristics are mentioned on our website so everybody can have an overall insight into the property. Thus, the hill location is one of the basic elements and advantages of this house as it offers you a wonderful landscape with a view and sunset. That's why we also recommend hiring a car as the best option for our guests' transportation. Moreover, the property has a traditional agriculture style as it is an old renovated Kefalonian family historic house that gives you a sense of the local folk way of living and the roots of this island. Regarding the house equipment, no spare linen is left for use by the guests, as we offer intermediate cleaning by the housekeeper, and we are sorry if something relevant came to your attention. We are sorry about the shower issue that never came to us as a problem during your stay, which of course we would have solved immediately upon notice from you if you had notified us the moment you found out. Regarding the cats that used to walk around the property, they are not ours but belong to the local village. The municipality didn't pay the needed attention thus they ended up giving birth to many kittens who all lived free in the surrounding fields and visited our house and other properties around the area seeking food and company. So, we have been trying our best to take care of them and we are sorry that we couldn't prevent any bad incident. We were devastated to find out about the little kitten as we had tried several times -unsuccessfully- to find some family for them or accommodate them in the local animal shelter, which until now is always full of more than 600 stray animals. The situation had been hard to manage so far, but after your notice, we acted immediately and contacted the local shelter once again explaining the hard situation and they managed to visit our property and collect all the cats, as well as from the surrounding properties of the area, and safely moved them all to their facilities for caring. Chickens are taken care of by the property keeper offering them safe living conditions, which we just confirmed. We are sorry if accidentally you saw something different than usual. Lastly, your booking and payment procedure is something that we have discussed again and conditions were straightforward on the booking platform. Thank you for your time and contact, Regards
