Villa Dimitra is a one floor private villa located in Trapezaki, a picturesque area on the island of Kefalonia, Greece. This area is known for its tranquil atmosphere, beautiful landscapes, and proximity to some of the island's best beaches. Trapezaki itself is a lovely coastal village, offering a mix of traditional Greek architecture, olive groves, and clear turquoise waters.

Villa Dimitra is set in a serene location, offering guests a peaceful escape with stunning views of the surrounding countryside. The villa is equipped with modern amenities, including private pool, spacious terrace equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas. Upon arrival, you’re greeted by a beautifully designed space filled with natural light and calming colors. Whether you’re relaxing in your cozy room, or unwinding by the pool, you’ll feel a sense of peace and relaxation from the moment you arrive.

The villa is located approximately 8-10 kilometers (about 5-6 miles) from Kefalonia International Airport (EFL). The drive typically takes around 15-20 minutes and it is also located approximately 13-15 kilometers (about 8-9 miles) from Argostoli, the capital of Kefalonia. The drive usually takes around 20-25 minutes.

We will provide free car hire when booking Villa Dimitra. Kefalonia is a relatively large island with many attractions, and having a car allows visitors to explore more of its hidden gems, beaches, and charming villages at their own pace.

Kefalonia is famous for its dramatic landscapes, with stunning beaches like Myrtos and Antisamos, as well as charming villages and rich historical sites. Villa Dimitra’s location makes it a great base for exploring the island while still enjoying the comforts of a secluded, relaxing retreat.

Kindly note that the Greek climate tax (€15 per night) is not included in the room rate and will be collected in cash upon check-in, as required by local regulations.

We, a couple in our 60’s, had a great time at Villa Dimitra for a week in mid September. We have done many hotel & apartment holidays over the years, but, as a couple, never had our own pool. So, it was a joy to have the very clean pool in total privacy to ourselves! If a little cool!!The little Villa is a great size for 2 or 4 - but we didn’t want to share it with anyone else! Clean and very well equipped - not that we did any cooking, there were plenty of restaurants locally and in the small town nearby. We did very much appreciate the Welcome Pack left by Stacey on arrival, it saved us having to nip to the nearest Supermarket when it was pouring down with rain ( the only rain we saw)We didn’t take up the offer of a car during our stay as we both hate driving abroad & we, usually, walk everywhere. We were not aware of quite how hilly it was to go anywhere from our front gate! We could have taken taxi’s but you see more when you walk. Anyway, it was our choice and we were happy to potter locally and loved Trapezaki beach, even the walk back up the hill! All in all, if you want a lovely little Villa with pool, all to yourself, we would highly recommend it!

The property was great and worked really well for our family of 5. There was a minor problem with the car included and they changed it at our convenience. The local beaches, especially the undeveloped Kanali beach are beautiful and only about 10min walk. An amazing welcome pack with loads of home grown produce. Quiet area but a selection of good local restaurants and a mini market. Would have liked a microwave and a coffee machine I could get to work would have been a great addition.

Es war einer der schönsten Urlaube, die wir als Familie je erlebt haben. Neben der reizvollen Umgebung, den tollen Stränden und den variativen Möglichkeiten, Ausflüge zu unternehmen, trugen natürlich auch der perfekte Service und die reizvolle Unterkunft zu einer traumhaften Wohlfühlatmosphäre bei. Reibungsloser Transfer zum Ferienhaus, beste Ausstattung, ein gepflegter Pool und ein reichhaltiges Willkommenspaket mit z.B. frischem Gemüse aus dem Garten, Blumen auf dem Tisch sowie notwendige Lebensmittel im Kühlschrank ließen uns sofort ,heimisch‘ werden. Die Vermieterin vermittelte uns stets das Gefühl, willkommen zu sein und reagierte bei einer kleinen Reparatur sofort! Die Wohnung wurde während unseres Aufenthalts mehrmals geputzt, der Pool regelmäßig gereinigt! Die Unterkunft ließ keine Wünsche offen, war geschmackvoll eingerichtet und großzügig in der Aufteilung geschnitten. Wir haben uns prächtig erholt und bedanken uns auf diesem Weg nochmals bei der großartigen und jederzeit professionell agierenden Vermieterin. Absolut empfehlenswert ohne irgendwelche Einschränkungen!
