An absolutely wonderful place for a peaceful retreat.
An absolutely wonderful place for a peaceful retreat. The lodge was perfect, well equipped, clean and welcoming, just what we needed before the back to school routine! Surrounded by nature and the farm animals, it’s the ideal place to relax. The hot tub was superb, we even managed some stargazing. Would definitely recommend and will most certainly be back in the future.

Beautiful place to stay, so quiet and peaceful.
Beautiful place to stay, so quiet and peaceful. Our favourite thing to do was have a morning cup of coffee on the decking listening to the flowing river nearby and the occasional donkey chatter. The lodge was very clean and the welcome package was a lovely touch. You can pay for extras like wood for the log burner and extra animal feed for the cows, donkeys and pigs. The kitchen was well equipped and having a dishwasher was a great touch (you can buy tablets from the owners but we bought our own). The lodge was always warm and cozy which was great knowing we weren’t graced with the best weather but it was still enjoyable! If you’re looking for somewhere peaceful then this is definitely the right place for you.
