A great little cottage with fantastic views and a peaceful location. Lots to do in the area including beautiful coastal walks and bays. Hosts very friendly with lots of local knowledge. Had a fantastic stay!

The whole place was amazing . Absolutely spotless and left us some lovely goodies you didn't need to bring anything but the food you want to eat some lovely walks and not far from anywhere but very quiet definitely go again

Very clean really helpful hosts there for any problems which I did not have.Facilities were good everything that you needed and more a little gem of a place to stay for a peaceful holiday.Wonderful views quiet and relaxing would recommend this accommodation you will not be disappointed.

Our stay at the Red Kite Cottage was perfect. Zena and Leigh were great hosts. There was everything we needed and even more. We found a welcome basket with all sorts of goodies. We were able to explore the area well. We give you a big 10.

Red Kite Cottage

Beautiful property , comfortable, peaceful and lovely surrounding countryside Well equipped with everything you would need ,. Very warm welcome from hosts and lots of information on places to visit. Would highly recommend

Secluded cottage in the hills

Beautiful cottage nestled in the Welsh hills. A beautiful one bed cottage with every amenity you need for a short break. The hosts are fantastic, the welcome hamper really sets the tone. Bath is wonderful and surrounding areas are breathtaking. Honestly, it’s a hidden gem. Don’t tell anyone!

True Romantic Getaway

From the moment we arrived, the cottage was exactly, if not better than id imagined and seen online. Zena and Leigh (owners) were around to greet us, and they were just so friendly and welcoming. The welcome basket was magic so we could have a cuppa and treat after our long drive. The situation and views were just breathtaking. The cottage was immaculate and really worked perfectly as a mini home from home and a perfect base for trips out or just chilling..... cant wait to book our next stay!

Leigh and Zena were fantastic hosts going beyond what would reasonably be expected, even helping out with a puncture on our mobility scooter and providing means of charging it. Every time we needed help, they were there. Their knowledge of birdwatching in the area was really appreciated in helping us to find places to go, and the Misty Heights bird hide was a great place to spend a day, the best bird hide we have ever been in.The property was lovely and had everything we needed, including many little touches, like cling film and foil, that are so often not provided. In fact, everything we needed was there. The welcome basket was full of goodies and things to get us started in our stay, bread, milk and eggs, as well as some nice sweet things.I think the best way to describe how we felt about the property and Leigh and Zena, is that at the start of the second week, we booked another week there next year!Leigh and Zena, keep doing what you do, you really make a great place to stay fantastic, through your warmth, generosity and kindness

First Solo Short Break

I was blown away by this property and the surrounding countryside. Immaculate inside with everything you could possibly need. The welcoming hamper was a lovely treat and the friendly hosts were there to help if needed. I cannot find any fault with this beautiful cottage and will definitely be returning.

Perfect getaway

Red Kite Cottage is just a perfect place to get away from busy life. The place is super comfortable and spotlessly clean. Kitchen was fully equipped. It is clear that a lot of thought and care was put in by the owners, who are wonderful caring people. We got to enjoy lots of local adventures on the coast, in the forest and in the mountains during our week long stay. We thoroughly reccomend this place!

Amazing place

The place was clean, you had everything you needed it was beautiful , we even got a welome letter and a basket of goodies would definitely stay again, it was my husbands 60th abd it was perfect xxxx

Magnificent in every way!!

Red Kite Cottage was a perfect choice for our visit to South Wales! Everything we could have imagined needed for our three night stay was provided; from spotless accommodation to luxurious towels, every kitchen item imaginable , a mini library of brochures with suggestions of places to explore and a personal welcome basket full of goodies....truly a wonderful stay.

The usual Easter break made extraordinary by staying at red kite cottage Lampeter

We had a wonderful experience of being surrounded by nature and having a fab quirky cottage with amazing views from the lts own picnic area. The well arranged cottage has everything you need is clean and fresh and delightfully quaint with a fab double ended bath to soak away the pains of a walking day. The owners were lovely hosts and very helpfull. A beautiful place to chill and explore with lots of walks. Would highly recommend and return.

Deze plek is goed centraal gelegen. Alle interessante plekken zijn goed te bezoeken. Ook vanuit het huisje zijn mooie wandelingen te maken.

The Perfect Cottage

The first thing that strikes you when arriving at Red Kite Cottage is the stunning view. Photos won't fully convey quite how striking the surround area is. Red Kite Cottage sits nicely up high for you to see miles and miles around. The next thing is the warm welcome from the two wonderful hosts, Steph and Dez. They were so attentive when I was making my travel plans to get down to Red Kite and were very helpful and friendly. The cottage is a cosy but exceptionally efficient space. Its exactly what you would want of a cottage. It's got a great space for reading, relaxing, cooking and more outdoor options for eating as well as exploring . I used it for getting away to write and it was perfect. Its also incredibly easy in the summer to control heat as the low roof has windows you can open. One of which looks over to a lovely pond with a family of Geese with little goslings. The only noise you can hear is the soothing bleating of sheep and moo's off in the distance. its blissful silence. There's also a great little wood fire - I was so overly romanticised by the whole experience I got one going despite it being a warm evening. The place just becomes so incredibly snug. The last thing which I will will most remember is the sunset. I won't attempt to put into words. you just have to see it yourself. But I struggle to recall one more beautiful. I recommend with the highest recommendation I could give Thank you Steph and Dez- I will be back!
