The Snug was the perfect getaway cottage - my style of cottage, sensitively restored, with all home

The Snug was the perfect getaway cottage - my style of cottage, sensitively restored, with all home comforts and easy access to friends and family in the Lakes and Dales. The owners were extremely welcoming - email before visit, and instant response to a couple of queries during my visit. I would happily book this cottage again.

The Snug was the perfect spot for our 5 days in Kirkby Londale, just a very short walk to the centre of town, but not on a noisy road. It is a lovely semi-detached cottage with exposed beams and wood burner (which we didn't need to use) There was everything we needed, and the beds and seats were all comfortable. We enjoyed the table and chairs in the little yard at the back, for a drink in the sun at the end of the day. We would be more than happy to stay here again.
