Charming Detached Completely Private Stone Built Open Plan Cosy Retreat For 2.

This converted detached holiday cottage stands in a quiet rural location on the edge of the National Park. It is an idyllic setting, enjoying peace and quiet with only the sound of the nearby stream. It really makes a wonderful home from which to walk direct from the front door in the surrounding countryside. The Dales and the Lakes are both readily accessible, the market town of High Bentham is only 1.5 miles whilst Kirkby Lonsdale with its lovely selection of individual shops (ranging from antiques to designer clothes and jewellery) is 8 miles. Ingleton and its caves are 5 miles. Alternatively dine alfresco and take in the view and the tranquillity. Also within easy reach of the Three Peaks. Shop and pub 1.5 miles.

We provide bed linen and towels and two easy start logs. Clients are asked to bring their own logs etc if they wish to use more than the two we provide on the log burner. Basic cleaning materials provided along with a toilet roll. Doggy basket includes waste bags, treats, towels, blankets and cleaning sprays. The cottage is simple yet comfortable! A big hit with dog walkers, cyclists, walkers and those who wish to have some quiet and relaxation

The property was difficult to find which meant it was very secluded perfect for a romantic getaway. There was almost no passing traffic so it was very quiet. We watched the solar eclipse because the sky was so dark and clear. There isn’t much to do around the property and you need to have your own transport to go to the Lakes to the north or Lancaster to the south. We didn’t speak to the host simply because we didn’t need to. We really enjoyed our time there and would recommend it

Just returned home today from a 2 night stay with my partner and the dogs.The cottage is in a beautiful remote location and easy to find. Contactless check-in was simple and easy and to be honest, our preferred method. Kitchen was fully equipped with all utensils we could need and more!The whole place was clean, tidy and fresh and the dog basket with blankets and treats is a cute touch that the dogs appreciated. As stated the bathroom is small but it's all clean and in working order and serves it's purpose. Garden was well maintained and tidy and goes around the whole cottage which is great for the dogs to be able to jump out the car and run around! Outdoor tap and plug sockets which was a bonus for the ninja BBQ.Town just a short drive away with a free public car park with ev chargers.Beautiful places to go explore and would definitely recommend!Also due to remote location and lack of light pollution the view of the sky at night was absolutely insane! I've never seen as many stars in the sky so make sure to look up if it's clear!

What can i say, this cosy place was amazing. We were in a quiet rural location but having a village 5 minutes away was a dream.Even though the weather wasn't the best but what can you expect for February, we had a great time watching birds, squirrels and farm animals. The enclosed garden was great for the dog, and the walks available around were great and very accessible.

Property is lovely, has erything you would need. We stayed for a week and really enjoyed our stay. Lots of lovely villages only a short drive away and walks with the dogs straight from the doorstep. Great secure garden for the dogs with the sound of badgerford beck making it very relaxing, when you sit out with chimney lit.

This was a sweet little space perfect for a couple of days walking in the Dales. Make sure you take everything you need for breakfast and drinks as nothing is left but there's plenty of crockery and pans for cooking. The lamp lighting in the bedroom is cool blue so not very relaxing for reading before bed. Leave yourself a bit of time in the morning to go through the cleaning list.

Lovely cottage, great for the dog to be off road and safe in the garden. Close to lots of great walks and places to see. Peaceful and restful. Can recommend the waterfall trail and Ingelton village. Stunning trail and pr try shops and excellent coffee and food places. Clean, cosy and well equipped cottage. Would be happy to book again.

We had such a lovely 2 nights stay at Badger cottage. It was quiet and private just what we were looking for. You have everything you need to like home away from home. It’s close to good trails if that’s some you are into and only a short drive to the shops if needs be. We would stay there again but would like to experience it in the summer. The bathroom is very compact and the only thing I would say was missing was a mat in the bathroom. It gets very wet in there so would be very useful
