The directions to the house were clear, and everything was exactly as pictured and described. The owners were very communicative before, during, and after our stay. We had an unfortunate incident where my youngest son accidentally locked the bathroom door, never having seen a pushlock next to a doorknob before, but the owner came out immediately and had the door opened again within half an hour. We were happy with the location, just enough away from the hustle and bustle of the more touristy properties but still within a few miles of gas, groceries, and of course--Yellowstone! The property itself was older, as expected, but very clean and thoroughly stocked with dishes and cookware, as well as plenty of clean sheets and extra towels. The only issue we experienced was with the dishwasher, which apparently had a hoseline break or something during a previous renter's stay. It was a nonissue for us, we just hand washed the pots/pans and used as much paper plates as we could. The owner made us aware of the issue and was very apologetic, and even offered to have it fixed while we were there. However, we decided to let them have it repaired after our stay, as we didn't mind washing the few dishes we used anyway. We took a lovely walk just around the corner to the river and landed in a huge field of blooming wildflowers that smelled divine! I'd highly recommend taking a walk along the river's edge, but be sure to use bug spray first.
