This is a fantastic place to stay. Mark is the best host. We have stayed here a couple of times and both times we were very happy. The location is ideal if you want to explore the area, or make a trip to Yellowstone. I couldnt get over how quiet it is at night. Very peaceful.
This property was amazing! We love love loved it! We even saw a moose and her babies right on the property. Don’t hesitate to book this if you don’t mind a bit of a drive to be out of the hustle and bustle.
This was an awesome experience for our family! Mark was great to deal with making sure all our needs were met, and exceeded. The cabin was spotless. The area truly peaceful, this was our paradise in the woods. Look forward to revisiting in the future!
This cabin has it all! We could have spent all of our time in the cabin and had a great time. It was very peaceful to come back to after a long day in Yellowstone. Very well stocked and thoughtfully appointed. The game room was a hit! Stayed nice and cool down there.
The cabin is really beautiful and well maintained. There is lots of space for everyone to spread out, comfortable beds and all of the amenities you need! Kids really enjoyed the game room and hot tub. We would definitely stay here again!
What an amazing place to stay. Not only was the cabin and amenities top notch but the wildlife we seen from the porch was awesome. Moose, Elk, Mule Deer, Fox plus a friendly neighbor dog
We were looking for a nice quiet place in the woods while visiting Yellowstone and the Tetons with the family. We enjoyed the hot tub, outside, fire pit, and the game room downstairs. If you do decide to stay here, we’d highly recommend Connie‘s to go out to dinner and lunch.
Absolutely beautiful home and property! Cabin was excellent and couldn't ask for better surrounding property! Mark is an excellent host. Very responsive. Would definitely stay here again when planning a trip to the area!
Had great time visiting Yellowstone and the Great Tetons!! The cabin was beautiful and had everything you needed. Mark called the day of our arrival and was very welcoming. Came home one day and had family 4 deer laying by the garage.
My family of four had more than enough room at this house. It is nicely decorated and beds and sitting areas are very comfortable. We were surprised at how far it was off the beaten path. We just planned not to go back out once we got back to the house. The house was perfect for our snow day in June with a gas powered stove for heat which provided a nice ambience. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay!
We spent 2 days exploring Yellowstone and the area. Very much enjoyed the beauty of the area. The house worked out great for the 6 of us. It was clean and provided all the kitchen products, paper products and bathroom supplies that was needed. The check in was extremely easy and the owner called to check on us when we got there and before we left.
Loved our stay at this cabin in the woods! Everything we needed was included. Owners called and checked on us to see if we needed anything. Even saw a moose in the yard in the mornings. We enjoyed the game room, hot tub and fire pit. We would book again for sure!
A lovely cabin with all the amenities and peacefulness we were looking for. A little bit of a drive to go to activities but it was nice to come back to the cabin at night to have downtime.
The cabin was everything we hoped for. It was well stocked with more than enough supplies for our trip. Mark was super quick with responses to our questions and more than accommodating. We made use of the hot tub and game room after our long days in the parks. I would definitely stay again.
Very beautiful and clean!! Owner promptly responses. Information needed was sent way in advance! Very spacious area. Would stay there again if I come back this direction.
Overall we were happy with our stay. Had some trouble with keypad entry but owner quickly resolved. Kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked. After long days in Yellowstone and Tetons, the drive back was longer than ideal. Very quiet and well maintained cabin. After long days hiking, we were too tired to use lower level entertainment.
We had a great time! The cabin is comfortable and full of everything a family needs to enjoy a Yellowstone vacation. We were able to get groceries from a new store in the area, fishing and lazy rafting are available nearby also. A couple of trips into West Yellowstone and the park was amazing. Plenty of wildlife in the area to view as well. We look forward to coming back! You will not be disappointed.
We had a really great time! My husband and I stayed with our adult sons and my dad. This house was fantastic—the ping pong/pool table, air hockey table, hot tub, and more were all so great. We took many day trips around Yellowstone and even Island Park/Mesa Falls locations. It couldn’t have gone better! We will return!
Had a wonderful snowmobile trip. Owner went above and beyond helping us before we even arrived making sure everything was ready for us to be ready to ride snowmobile. We had two vehicles with large trailers and there was plenty of room for parking. Cabin is very clean, kitchen is well equipped, and kids loved game area downstairs to play air hockey and pool. Close to the areas we like to snowmobile so we were able to ride right from the cabin. Will stay here again.

My wife and I are from this area and always wanted a log cabin in the woods in Island Park. We bought the property in 2000 and built the cabin in 2002. It has been a great place for our family to gather for holidays and vacations. I'm sure you will find it just as enchanting as we have.
Why they chose this property
Island Park is a special place. Our cabin is a special place. Read the reviews! All our family and friends love the place, and they slip right into "cabin mode" when they enter. Kick off your shoes and just relax. Or, go for a nice walk in the woods. Most of summer visitors come to see Yellowstone National Park only 35 miles away. If you are into fishing, the famous Henry's Fork is just a few miles away.
If you are into snowmobiling (we are too!), the best snowmobiling is just across the road!
Please note that while we allow snowmobiles at the cabin during the winter; we do not allow ATV's (Quads, Side by Sides, etc.) or dirt motorcycles at anytime.
What makes this property unique
Quiet. Very comfortable. Close to Yellowstone National Park. But, far enough a way that you don't have all the traffic if you want to relax. Fishing: Henry's Fork, Henry's Lake, Island Park Res. Horseback riding at Eagle Ridge Ranch is just a few miles away. Located on 5 wooded acres. Great backpacking and camping at nearby Blair Lake on the Idaho/Montana border.
Snowmobiling: access to Keg springs, Jefferson, Reas Peak, Bishop Mountain.
The family will love the area.
