Bridge Street Close is convenient for all town centre amenities including shops, restaurants, pubs and some delightful riverside walks, and is also ideally placed for you to enjoy all the attractions of the Western Lake District and is close to the lovely town of Keswick.
Modern and bright, Bridge Street Close has a pleasant living/dining room on the ground floor with patio doors opening onto the south facing secluded garden, the perfect spot for enjoying a BBQ. Also on the ground floor is a modern kitchen with integrated appliances, and a separate small toilet. The first floor has a large double bedroom and a single bedroom, as well as the family bathroom. On the second floor you will find another large bedroom with twin beds and en-suite.
Cockermouth is on the border of the Lake District National Park and within easy reach of some of the glorious lakes the area is famous for. A short drive will take you to Bassenthwaite Lake at the foot of the Skiddaw range for fantastic walks, woodland, wildlife and watersports. The popular town of Keswick is 14 miles away and can be reached in about 20 minutes. For walkers and cyclists, you’ll love the route through Whinlatter Forest Park, or continue down the valley to Buttermere which boasts stunning panoramic scenery.
