About this property

Beautiful remodeled villa steps from the ocean surrounded by lush gardens.

Villamare is an oceanfront property with beautiful landscaped grounds located in Palmetto Dunes. The complex is steps from the beach with two outside pools, hot tubs, sundecks and grill area. There is also a fitness center with a pool, sauna and hot tub. From Villamare you can walk to the general store, bike/kayak rental shop and tennis/pickle ball courts.
Our villa has been renovated, entirely painted with new living room and dining room furniture in 2022. The lovely/beachy open floor plan of the living area provides plenty of space for enjoying family and friends. Living room includes a 55' flat screen TV and access to the balcony that has a table and 4 chairs for enjoying the gardens and pond. The kitchen was also remodeled in 2022 includes quartz counter tops, stainless steel appliances and seating for two at the breakfast bar.

The master bedroom has a king-size bed, flat screen TV, private bath and balcony access. The master bedroom bathroom has a stunning double vanity sink with quartz countertop updated in 2021. The second bedroom has two queen-size beds and 2023 remodeled bathroom. Also has a flat screen TV and access to a second balcony.
No need to pack linens as they are provided.

Our unit overlooks the beautiful lagoon and gardens where fish and wildlife can be observed. A walk through the garden leads to the warm, blue ocean and large outdoor pools, hot tubs and firepit and bbq area. There is also an indoor pool and health club that provides state of the art equipment that our guests have access to.

Palmetto Dunes is a beautiful private, gated community with 3 miles of pristine beach, 3 championship golf courses and 23 tennis courts. As our guests you will enjoy 10% off bike, beach items, canoe and kayak rentals at the OUTFITTERS store (offer code VRB10) which is a short walk from the villa. There is also a general store 5 minutes away and several dining options within Palmetto Dunes Resort.

Family Getaway
Our visit was fabulous! When we arrived, the unit had not been cleaned from the previous renters, and Ellie was incredibly prompt and responsive to our concerns. It was cleaned instantly and to the full extent! The unit was beautiful and the Villamare was wonderful with great upgrades. The unit itself was very new with everything you needed. It was very large for our family of 3. Palmetto Dunes is an incredibly family friendly area that is wonderful for families. Ellie and her unit was perfect for what our family needed for the week. We will absolutely be back again!

Condo was very clean and renovated (we didn't miss the hot tub in the master bedroom that older units have). Great location. Could have used more plates. Overall very happy with our stay.

Great Property with a few things to consider
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms and bathrooms were clean, plenty of towels and over all nice place. Some major positives: - Lovely view overlooking a lot of the Villamare grounds and ponds - Easy walk to the beach - Plenty of parking available. - Great internet access - Wonderful communication from the property owner There are some things that could have been more clear or could use a little work. - Probably my biggest gripe was there were no microwave safe plates onsite (one or two glass bowls was it) - I was a little disappointed to learn there is a parking charge per vehicle. That would be nice information to have up front. It wasn't a huge fee, just a sort of gotcha we did not know about until the week of the stay. - The washing machine is nice, but almost unusable, as it is difficult to pour any liquid into the dispenser. Either use tablets or have something with a spout to pour in a liquid. - A number of emails did have conflicting information. I was able to figure it out, but the standard information could use some updating. - I really appreciated the Keurig and used it a lot, but it could use a good descaling. I hope we are able to visit again some time. The positives far outweigh the negatives.

Wonderful Location
We had a wonderful stay at the condo. Our boys (ages 3 and 7) love the indoor pool and this condo is very closely located to it. I like the fact that we can use the stairs and not rely on the elevator. We have stayed at other units in Villamare that were higher up and we had to use the elevator each time. Easy access to everything is a plus for our family. Would love to stay again in the future.

Savannah to Hilton head
Accommodations were perfect. The location was prime access to pool and beach as well as bike rental only two minutes away. I would recommend this spot to anyone staying at Hilton head.

We had a great stay at this unit. Very clean and a lot of fun to be in an updated unit. No complaints at all. Just one recommendation - we could have used additional garbage bags and toilet paper. It's also a wonderful location close to the pool and beach!

Perfect family vacation.
This Villa is located within a resort area so it is extremely well kept and quiet as well as safe. It was extremely easy to come and go by car and there were unlimited options within walking distance as well. Direct access from the complex to the pool and beach. The unit is self has two large bedrooms each with a full bath separated by a large open concept kitchen, dining, living room area. There is no tub but the showers are nice and the one in the bathroom off the 2nd bedroom has a handheld sprayer that is great for the kids.
