We have just returned from a week holiday at this property. 6 adults, 2 toddlers and a baby- the house met all of our needs. A minutes walk to the beach, it was beautiful! We watched the sunset, the toddlers rode their bikes on the front, we kayaked, played games, went to the playground/splashpark on the front and had an all round relaxing but fun week!

Thank you Amy , it was a pleasure to host you and your family xx
A lovely place to stay right by the beach with the benefit of a guaranteed parking space and we were able to park a second car near the house too. Lovely beach at Aberavon and also close to be able to visit Swansea and Mumbles and Gower beaches. The house is a 3 storey townhouse and is very spacious and the beds were very comfy. We found the garage really useful to store our beach stuff and also to keep the paddleboard in, to save putting it up and down each time we went to the beach. We had a lovely holiday, of course helped by the amazing weather we had but also by a very comfortable and well located place to stay, thank you!
Victoria was great at communicating and answered any questions I had. The property was lovely... perfect for our group and only a short walk to the beach. It was clean and well equipped for our self catering stay. Thank you x
The house was perfect for us as a family 2 double beds and 4 singles. The house has everything you need and more. Really nice modern feel to the whole house and much bigger than expected.
The house is so spacious and comfortable. We were a big group but there was plenty of space. Everything was just right, down to the beautiful christmas decorations that made it all so homely. Thank you!
absolutley lovely place. so spacious and cozy. me and my 7 friends stayed there and we all felt at home with how peaceful and beautiful the house was. check in was super easy and the 2 minute interaction i had when checking in with i assume the owner was very good. i couldn’t recommend a better place as this suited all our needs. unfortunately the weather wasn’t the best but we took liberty of the huge and incredibly comfortable lounge.
Booked house for a quiet together for bride to be mother of the bride and the groom and myself the maid of honour,We were all really impressed with the house it had a lovely feel to it and plenty of space. We spent most of our stay at the house we did our own cooking had drinks and games had a wonderful time and would definitely love to go back
A wonderful stay in this holiday accommodation. Bright, spacious, airy, clean & tidy. A proper home from home. Excellent communication, with extensive details about the home & information about local area activities, facilities and attractions. We really appreciated well considered gestures, such as fresh milk in the fridge & cookies on arrival. Thank you to the hosts, for the thought & detail made to ensure guests have a comfortable stay. We look forward to staying again!

Liked: Check-in, listing accuracy
Overall nice
Check in: I had to contact the owner the weekend before to say that we had not received any check-in information. She responded promptly with further information. I then messaged her twice again asking whether there was a hairdryer and washing machine at the house and never got a response. (turns out there were). The initial check in was 3pm however we got a call around an hour before to say that due to issues with another rental property, the cleaning was taking longer. We were not able to get into the house until 4.30pm.
Location: The house is literally on the beach, which was great and exactly what we were looking for. The house is however also opposite a bar/ pub, which played live music Saturday night until late and again had a Karaoke night on the Friday. As it was summer, the doors were open which meant little sleep for any of us until their music finished.
Property: The house has four bedrooms and would sleep 8 happily. More people than that I think would be a squeeze, especially since the dining table seats 8 the most and the sofas in the lounge only seat 8, too. We appreciated the large telly with Sky TV.
The house looked overall clean, unless you looked too deep into any cupboards (especially the kitchen) or the garage. Spare duvets had been thrown in the cupboard under the stairs (accessible from the small toilet), the garage was full of old treasures, junk and what we assumed spare bedding covers (not kept in sealed boxes), the airing cupboard looked like it hadn't been cleaned for weeks, the skirting boards throughout were dusty.
Overall the house was kitted out well though, although it would be a squeeze in the kitchen for more than six people. The main beds were extremely comfortable and the bedding was clean. There were two mattresses pilled on top of each other in the kids room and judging by the feel and look, these were not the same good quality as the rest.
We payed just over £1300 for the week, which is the most we ever paid for a week's rental in the UK (and we have rented a lot of holiday homes in our time). Based on this, we had expected a higher level of cleanliness and care - it was the little things that let the house down - blinds in the bathroom that had not been replaced, cracks and scratches in the bath, peeling paint on skirting boards, wobbly bunk beds, no cupboards in the two smaller rooms, an old boiler with no CO2 monitor, windows that have seen better days.......
Fantastic house right near the beach and promenade .
Plenty of rooms and space for a big family .
Very impressed with the property and owner was lovely, helpful and friendly.
Everything we needed was there thank you so much for a wonderful stay and the treats when we arrived .
We didnt want to leave and hope to be back next year .
Aberavon and the beach house are perfect for a family holiday.
This house was prefect for our long over due girls weekend. It’s literally steps from the beach.
The rooms are very generous in size , the kitchen had everything we needed and the lounge was perfect for watching a movie . We will definitely be back . Vicky the owner was wonderful and sorted out a minor internet issue very quickly
