An amazing villa with fantastic views out to sea.

Perfect base for 3 generations to enjoy. Karine was a delightful host and the villa was immaculate and welcoming. We didn’t want to leave!

Best holiday home on Madeira

This was the second time we have stayed in this unique holiday home. In addition to the fantastic view over the sea, the quality of the furnishings leaves nothing to be desired. We'd love to come back.

Our family of 4 had a great week long stay at Sonho do Oceano. The location right in the middle of the island was perfect and much sunnier and warmer than the other areas we visited. The town was a quick 2 minute drive or 15 minute walk down hill and had a few great restaurants and a large grocery store. The outdoor space had incredible ocean views with a large pool and BBQ area. The kitchen was large and well supplied and all bedrooms and bathrooms spacious and updated. Karine and her husband were great hosts right next door and attended immediately to anything we needed. We didn't want to leave and would definitely return!

We loved everything about the villa, especially the ocean view. The villa was spacious with good equipment, including a lift. It had a real 'wow' factor and made our holiday special. The minor problems we had with the facilities were dealt with immediately by the owners, who lived next door, were very helpful and unobtrusive.

We had an exceptional stay at this villa. The property is beautifully maintained, thoughtfully designed, and delivers exactly the kind of relaxing, high‑quality experience you hope for when booking a private stay. The interiors are spotless and modern, the outdoor spaces are peaceful and private, and every detail — from amenities to comfort — has clearly been considered with care. The location is another standout: quiet enough to unwind completely, yet close enough to reach local restaurants, beaches, and activities without hassle. The villa strikes the perfect balance between seclusion and convenience.Service was excellent throughout our stay. Communication was quick, clear, and genuinely helpful, and the hosts went out of their way to ensure everything was smooth from arrival to departure. We would happily return and strongly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a high‑quality, comfortable, and well‑managed place to stay.

We loved everything about the villa and it's wonderful ocean views.

The amazing views outside and from every room. The responsiveness and helpfulness of the owner and her family. The villa was very spacious and very well equipped and the lift was a bonus. With a party of five people, it would have been good to have a couple of keys. I'm sure if we'd have asked for a second set you would have provided them. Thank you for helping to make our holiday in Madeira special.

Beautiful Madeira

Wonderful place with beautiful views. The owner was next door and very responsive and friendly. They provided us the opportunity to use a car for free. Beach is a little bit far and need to drive. We had absolutely no problem with the house except AC was not always functioning. Nevertheless, the property and the owner’s responsiveness made up for this slight shortcoming. I highly recommend this beautiful property.

Wunderschöne Villa an top Lage

Beautiful Place, but Noise Dock

Beautiful house. Beautiful pool. Very much as advertised. Only negatives - 1. the changing of the tides caused a "clanging" noise to emanate from the nearby dock which wasn't bad during the day but got to be a little annoying at night 2. Couldn't figure out air conditioning so be sure to ask for instructions when checking in. Well worth the money. Enjoy!
