A fantastic place to stay in a wonderful location, right next to the historic railway line and within walking distance of Beddgelert. There was plenty of space, the accommodation was well equipped, and communication was friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it. Many thanks to Gareth and Llinos for making our stay so enjoyable!
We really enjoyed our stay in the converted barn. The property had everything you could need and the communication from Gareth was excellent and accommodating. The views from the lounge and patio are outstanding even on a wet morning. The dogs loved the large secure outdoor space to run around in.We wouldn't hesitate to book this property again.
A delightful light, modern, spacious, quirky cottage, set in beautiful North Wales countryside. A tranquil setting, with views over Welsh mountains, only occasionally interrupted by a steam train chuffing its way through the garden. I've now stayed in both cottages and would thoroughly recommend both the cottages, and the local area.
This is our 3rd visit to Derwin Fach and it is never easy to leave. The cottage is beautiful and maintained to a high quality. The views are stunning and the location perfect. A place to stop and exhale. We look forward to returning very soon.
Wonderful location, house, surroundings and host. Rooms were all lovely spacious and clean. Views were beautiful and loved being so close to a beautiful village. Couldn't recommend it enough.
Stunning location, remote but with easy 10 mins access into the village. Charming cottage! Highly recommend for a peaceful getaway

Excellent place to stay. Modernised to a very high standard in a very private position but still easily within walking distance of the village of Beddgelert and it's amenities. Very friendly and helpful hosts. Great mountain views and a twice a day chance to see the steam trains pass the property at the bottom of the property drive. Would highly recommend.
This was our second visit to this wonderful cottage. It is absolutely perfect, beautifully maintained and in the most stunning setting. Our hosts couldn’t have been more helpful. It’s perfectly located for an easy walk into Beddgelert. We just absolutely love it and will be back again very soon.
This is such a gem of a property. It's in a great location, secluded but only a 10 minute walk to Bedgelert. The house is beautiful and well equipped, the views are stunning and an added bonus is the steam train goes right by the front garden, with a second glimpse out of the side window as it loops back round. To access the property you need to open two gates and cross the railway line, which was perfectly safe but just took a bit of extra time. Instructions from the host were very clear and we had no problems finding or accessing the property. Would highly recommend staying here.
Such a cosy, comfortable and well maintained cottage with stunning views. Booking and check in was very easy and communication with the host was excellent. We are booking again!
Don’t hesitate to book this beautiful, comfortable and very clean accommodation in a quiet location yet a lovely 10 minute walk into Beddgelert. We enjoyed the mountain view( even in the rain), sheep, sound of cuckoo birds and the creek but the daily highlight was the heritage steam train!
Absolutely brilliant, the location is surrounded by nature but only a 10 minute walk to the village shops & pubs. Really comfy bed, well equipped kitchen, modern and spotlessly clean.
Would highly recommend and will be booking another trip in future
A gorgeous property presented to the highest standard. Within walking distance of beddgelert and right on the steam train's route. We loved it will be coming back.
We’ve had a fantastic stay. The house is warm and welcoming, beds are really comfortable and the welcome treats were extremely thoughtful and generous. The views are really lovely and the hosts are really friendly and helpful. Can’t recommend enough
My two friends and I stayed for a week, and enjoyed the property for its bucolic setting and central location to places we wished to visit. Making friends with the sheep was an added bonus, as well as the little train that passes a few times a day .
Just the most idyllic property and location! Our third time here and we will be returning. Spotless house that caters for your every need and those views - wow just wow!

Thank you so much for your review and thank you for booking your holiday at Derwen Fach. We are looking forward to welcoming you back to Derwen Fach in the near future.
We stayed for 4 nights, and it was wonderful. Very quiet, just far enough off the beaten track. Charming little steam train along the bottom of the garden once a day. Accommodation very clean and welcoming.
We really enjoyed our vacation. The accommodation is very nice and modern. The view of nature is fantastic and the beautiful Beddgelert is only a 10-minute walk away. A clear number one.
