Perfect Family Getaway - Tahoe Donner Cabin - dogs ok!

Your home away from home awaits you in the Tahoe Donner community in Truckee. Our cozy cabin offers three bedrooms and a loft with queen foldout. The upstairs main bedroom has a king bed with attached full bathroom (shower). There are two bedrooms downstairs, one with queen bed and the other with one twin and a twin/over double bunk bed, and a 2nd full bathroom (shower over tub) down the hall. Washer/dryer and linens included. The house features a well-equipped kitchen, secluded back deck with gas BBQ, and an attached garage with a 240v EV charging plug (bring your charging cord). The living room has a wood burning stove and flat-screen smart tv. Upstairs there is a smart tv in the king bedroom and a monitor screen in the loft. That one is not attached to cable, but can be connected to a laptop or game console. HDMI cable attached. A flat driveway and strong WiFi internet complete the easy living atmosphere. The rental includes guest access (up to 6 people) to the community centers, pool, hot tub, clubhouse and fitness areas for a $24 daily fee. Golf or hike in summer or try boating on the lakes. Enjoy downhill and cross country ski areas in winter. 5 mins from Donner Lake, 20 mins from Alpine and Palisades ski areas, 40 mins from Lake Tahoe activities. Pets allowed, but due to allergies please no cats.

The house had everything that was needed for a large family stay. Although, some of kitchen pots are ready to be replaced. The rooms were all spacious and clean there was plenty of linens and extra blankets. What was helpful were the mattress foam toppers that were in the closet. One of the twin mattresses was not comfortable and we placed the foam toper over it and it helped a lot. Communication with the host was easy and smooth. Overall I would book this home again if given the opportunity.

Awesome for a family weekend!

We had 7 adults and 3 kids and everyone fit very comfortably! Plenty of blankets, towels, cleaning supplies, dishes etc! Very cozy home and perfect for a weekend getaway in Tahoe!

Perfect Family Getaway Cabin

Was looking for a family accommodating place in Tahoe Donner. It was the perfect place for grandma, spouse, and three kids with dogs. Could not have asked for anything more. The place is in great location and family friendly. I hope to be able to stay there again for a future trip.

Wonderful and relaxing cabin

We had such a wonderful stay at John and Lisa ‘s cabin. The cabin is so cozy, such a roomy space with comfortable and clean couches, fully equipped kitchen with everything you need, updated bathrooms, comfy beds, and a great back deck for relaxing. The cabin is perfectly situated on a quiet street. Lisa and John are wonderful hosts and answered all our questions in a timely manner. We can’t wait to stay again..

Perfect vacation house for family

We had a wonderful stay at the house! It's located in a quiet, peaceful neighborhood and was equipped with everything we needed.
