Southern comfort at it's finest! Totally refurbished 2 bedroom/2 bath home on acreage with sun room. Surrounded by creeks and beautiful woods in a private setting.Bike, hike, or explore Brevard or Dupont State Forest, both less than ten miles away. Explore the brand new (opened 9.6.18) Headwaters State Park that is only minutes away. Visit Asheville, Beer City USA (45 minutes) or try
your hand at world class fly fishing just up the road.Or just sit on the front porch with a cold drink and listen to the stream. Brevard is also home to a world class music center, great restaurants, many art galleries, and endless opportunities to hear and enjoy live music.
The cottage is the first phase of what will include a refurbished 1948 Dodge school bus, bath house, bunk house, pavilion, and two tree houses. Phase two will open April 1, 2019!

Why they chose this property

We purchased the land with the goal of providing lodging for bikers and hikers. We saw great potential in the abandoned and neglected property. We are thrilled with the results.

What makes this property unique

We love the location. We're close enough to get into town easily yet far enough out to have lots of peace and quiet. There's nothing better than sitting on the porch enjoying the sound of running water and country living.
