Beautiful cottage

Apple Store Cottage is in a perfect location in the middle of Charlbury, but you would'nt have known it, it was so quiet and peaceful. The cottage was immaculate and very tastefully furnished. It was really well equipped, with everything you would need for a perfect stay!

There was a lovely welcome from the owners & the welcome goodies were much appreciated. The cottage was well presented & well equipped. The private outdoor area was a bonus and we were able to eat every meal outside. Easy assess to the local pubs & the charming village of Charlbury.

Charming cottage in a beautiful village

Wonderfully secluded cottage for two, right in the middle of this delightful village. Very clean and very modern appliances. Everything from village shop to eating and drinking minutes away. Highly recommended!

Great Stay at the Apple Store Cottage

We had a wonderful stay at the Apple Store Cottage in Charlbury. We were welcomed with freshly made bread, fresh tomatoes, and a lovely bottle of bubbly. The location was perfectly centered in the town with a few pubs and a Co-op just a short walk away. The cottage was well equipped with everything need to accommodate our stay. A bonus was the garden patio off the living area. It was perfect for morning coffee, afternoon wine and cheese and evening nightcaps before heading to bed. I would highly recommend the Apple Store Cottage and I would be very interested in a winter stay in the cottage.

Secluded cottage in the centre of Charlbury

Perfect location well hidden from the street, but within walking distance to pubs, shops, bus or train station. Ideal for 2 people, the cottage offers all you need. We had some issues with the heating when we arrived, but Sue solved that within a day. Several hiking tours possible from the place.

Exceptional cottage - one of the Cotswolds’ best! We received a very warm welcome from the owners, and loved the location / accessibility and gorgeous decor - a perfect long weekend. Would highly recommend and return!

Beautiful

Everything about Applestore Cottage was excellent and perfect for two. The cottage is in the grounds of the owner’s home and had everything we needed with a well detailed welcome booklet. It’s location is great for using the train or bus. Just over an hour to Paddington by train so ideal for leaving the car behind or a short bus ride to Oxford or Chipping Norton. The owners were lovely. All in all a first class stay.

A wonderful stay!

This cottage is absolutely stunning as well as being a warm, cosy and comfortable retreat. We stayed here for 4 nights and didn’t want to leave! The bed was super comfortable and the location is quiet but convenient - the pub at the bottom of the drive was a real bonus for a last minute meal on our first night! The owner was lovely and on hand if needed without being intrusive. This is definitely one of best cottages we have ever stayed in and we would love to go back.

Unforgettable stay

We can’t say enough good things about our stay at Apple Store Cottage. While visiting the UK for two weeks, this was without a doubt the highlight of our trip. The cottage was comfortable, and we truly felt at home. The champagne, local bread, a fire ready to be lit, and a quick visit from our host were all thoughtful and much appreciated touches.

Quality time in the Cotswolds

An excellent choice for our break to the Cotswolds. The location of the cottage in the private grounds of the owners house gave us the privacy and quietness we were looking for. The owners introduced themselves to us on arrival but were otherwise in the background, although available if necessary. A small problem with the bathroom washbasin was resolved immediately after reporting. One of the best holiday cottages we have stayed in.

Apple Store Cottage was simply one of the best places we have stayed. Every comfort was considered and provided and the place is a work of art. The bed was really comfortable and the bedding like a cloud. Little touches provided made it extra special. We will be back.

We fell in love with this beautifully appointed charming Cotswold cottage set in a tranquil walled English garden. Centrally located in quiet charming Charlsbury.

Perfect in every way

We were hoping for high quality accommodation in a pretty area for our relaxing Spring break. This was exactly what we got! Possibly the best cottage we have stayed in. Very well equipped, super comfy bed, luxurious shower gel, handwash and lotions. Overlooking the most pretty garden. Central to the village and the local pubs. We particularly liked the Rose and Crown. Charlbury well sited for visiting Oxford, Woodstock and other Cotswold towns. Will definitely recommend Apple Store Cottage to our friends and will likely return ourselves.

Fantastic place to stay

The Apple Store Cottage is great. It was clean, well furnished, and very private. Sue is a great host. We liked that the cottage was behind a gate and especially liked that we did not need to worry about parking. The pub next door with an excellent Sunday roast and an outdoor area serving pizza were very convenient. We will certainly stay there again when we come back to the Cotswolds.
