Adorable, professionally decorated beach house steps from the sand, only two houses from the beach! Two bedrooms plus loft and 2 1/2 bathrooms. Wood Floors downstairs with fireplace! Dining table to seat 6 and fully stocked kitchen. Lush patio with barbecue. Newly remodeled with all new appliances including full size washer and dryer.

Mandalay Beach is a wonderful quiet white sand beach perfect for family fun or couples looking for a retreat. Enjoy ocean sports and even borrow the boogie boards, beach chairs and umbrella we have provided. When you are done at the beach rinse off in the warm outdoor shower in our private courtyard. This property is newly remodeled with quality furniture in a beach cottage theme.

Enjoy Channel Islands harbor nearby and go whale watching, paddle boarding or kayaking on the marina. Sundays at the harbor you will find a quaint farmers market. Also many nice spots to dine along the marina.

Our beach house is located in the city of Oxnard which is perfectly situated in between Malibu and Santa Barbara. Visit one of the many wineries nearby!

A fabulous holiday home in a peaceful setting

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Oxnard Beach House. The property is just lovely. It has everything you could need for a little get away. It was bright and clean, beautifully furnished, with plenty of towels and a really sweet little court yard. We stayed here at the end of a long trip to California that had been all sightseeing and road trip up to the point when we reached Oxnard. We intended this part of the holiday to be a very quiet, relaxed week. It absolutely was that, so although I cannot comment too much on what there was to do in the area, I can certainly say it suits a peaceful retreat. The beach is a 2 minute walk away and everything you needed for spending time there was thoughtfully provided. The beach itself was a little sparse and industrial but it was nice to get some bracing sea air and enjoy the sunshine for the odd afternoon. Erica and Chris made renting the property super easy. They we excellent at communicating with us before and during our stay, answering emails extremely promptly. We didn't know what time we would arrive on the first day, but that was accommodated beautifully. Thank you so much, Erica and Chris, for letting us stay in your beautiful house.

Better than pictures

Beautiful home. If you are expecting three bedrooms, just be aware that two of the bedrooms don't have four walls surrounding them. They are open and it gets very bright in the morning. To get to the loft you must claim a ladder. It will get hot during the summer with no AC, but if you don't mind, I highly recommend this cute condo. We loved the location and the bright welcoming home.

Beach stay in Oxnard

Nice place. Misrepresented # of bedrooms. Only (1) full bedroom. Loft with a queen bed with a second loft above it with bed.No 4th wall on either. Probably good for kids, not great for adult couples.

Very cute beachy condo with everything you need for a pleasant stay. Worked perfectly for our family’s needs. We come to Oxnard Shores every year and would not hesitate to rent this condo again.

Great Experience!

This house is the perfect place to stay for a quiet getaway. The neighborhood was quiet and friendly and the beach that's just a few short minutes walks away was quiet and not crowded at all. The location to the beach is not all that this place has to offer. Its a short drive to grocery and retail shopping, restaurants, and even parks. Its also a quick and easy drive to Ventura Harbor if you need to catch a boat to Channel Islands National Park like we did. Communicating with the host was easy and they gave us all the information we needed with quick and courteous responses. I literally do not have anything bad to say about this place. We already know where we are going to stay next time we come back to explore one of the other Channel Islands.

Perfect Beach House

Stayed here with my wife and 2 young kids and this house was perfect for us. It was well stocked with everything from kitchen equipment, to towels, to laundry supplies. It was very clean, spacious, and well lit. Also, the location was amazing it was a 3 minute walk to the beach and had an awesome back deck where you could rinse off all the sand before going inside. 10/10 would highly recommend for a small family.

Clean, comfortable, functional

Great location 1 block from the public beach access path. This unit is part of a 4-plex and everything was clean with plenty of shower towels, however only 2 beach towels, a bag of beach toys and 2 small boogie boards that didn't have leashes. The neighborhood was quiet, people were friendly, peaceful and relaxing vibe. Parking for one car in the driveway, no garage access, more parking on street. 2 full bathrooms on second floor and a half bath on first floor. Open space between downstairs living area and 2 of the 3 bedrooms on second floor and loft bedroom, so sound travels easily throughout and. Beds were medium soft/firm. Plenty of kitchenware. Some outdated features, could use some paint touch-ups throughout for better esthetics, but everything was functional and comfortable. Within 10 minutes of grocery store, gas, restaurants. We would stay here again.

Close to beach

Quiet area with our own parking. Plenty of cooking equipment (pots, pans, knives, etc.). Very close to nice sandy beach. Loft bedroom was a hit for 11 year old.

Perfect Pacific Ocean Stay!

The entire experience was fantastic. Booking was perfect and instant. Our host was wonderful and was very responsive. Oxnard beaches are amazing. You are literally steps from the Pacific. The unit was decorated very nicely and the beach theme was consistent throughout every room. This place is very CLEAN. Everything worked as it should. We all enjoyed the gas fireplace to add a bit of ambiance. The place has big skylights that give it a light and airy feel. The patio is great for relaxing and having a BBQ. The beds were comfortable, towels soft and water hot! Doesn’t get much better than this. Thanks for a great stay!

This is a very nice house, one minute away from the sea. The beach is very large and very quiet. It is much nicer than both the outer banks and Delaware.

Great family vacation

We enjoyed staying at this property for one week over Christmas holidays. The unit had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Easy access to the beach with miles of walkable coastline and nearby parks with paved paths also.

Sweetest little beach house!

Just adorable townhouse, one block from the beach. Extremely clean and delightfully decorated. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances and includes MANY kitchen accessories for cooking. Beautiful patio area with fire pit, gas grill and outdoor shower for rinsing sandy feet! Communication with Erica (owner) was excellent. She gave prompt responses for any questions that we had. I can only highly recommend this VRBO listing. It was our first time using VRBO and we were not sure what we would be getting. This property was beyond our expectations. We will be renting this same property again!

Just steps from the beach this home is perfect for our family. The beach is quiet and not crowded, the ocean life is abundant and the oceanside town is quaint. We love it here! Oxnard is perfectly situated in between Malibu and Santa Barbara.

What makes this property unique

So close to the water means more time for play and less time for preparation. After playing all day at the beach we like to shower in our outdoor shower to rinse off the sand and then barbecue on our patio. It is the perfect home to bond with our children and make memories. Our location is appealing to wine lovers as well with many California wineries close by. Situated in between two harbors, this home is also ideal for marina sports!
