Amazing Property and Fantastic Hosts

We stayed in the south wing for a long weekend and could not have had a better time. The hosts couldn't have gone further out of their way to help us when we turned up with a flat tyre. We had a great recommendation for a local beach where we were able to watch a beautiful sunset. We would recommend visiting this amazing property with stunning grounds and will hopefully go back.

An Enchanted and Unforgettable StayWe had a wonderful stay at this truly fascinating and unique property. Roland was an excellent host—very communicative, helpful, and responsive throughout our visit. We always felt well taken care of.The property itself was something special. It was such a fun and memorable experience to stay in a place with so much history and character. There was a real sense of stepping back in time while still being able to enjoy a comfortable stay. It’s not every day you get the opportunity to actually live in a place with such a fascinating history. Roland's father took the time to visit us and explain the history of the house, with focus on the Great Hall and attached ancient chapel. The whole Bassett family went out of their way to be friendly and helpful.We absolutely loved our experience and would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for something unique, charming, and unforgettable!
