Excellent location and loved how neat and clean and spacious the apartment was. It was great to have the bus stop at restalrig garden right in front of the apartment. Wonderful to have the co-op market right across the street, and easy bus rides to Edinburgh and back. We also caught a bus to Portobello upon the first of fourth and had a fun afternoon there. Thank you, Susan, we enjoyed the shortbread you left for us. It was one of our most enjoyable stays on our three week trip.

Very comfortable in all ways. Susan thought of everything to make our stay comfortable as well as providing essential information on the area, local travel, and bus stops. Home was very clean and comfortable. A++. Would definitely stay here again.

This cute and quirky apartment was perfect for two people. The apartment was well stocked, I felt like it had everything we needed for our stay. The drawer in the kitchen held unexpected and useful tools, like an extra plug adapter. The kitchen was small but functional, the bed was large enough and comfortable, the bathroom was very nice, and having a way to wash and dry laundry was very helpful. My favorite part was the bus stop just outside the front door, it took us everywhere we wanted to go. The book of directions the host left was the best we encountered all trip. We would happily stay here again.

We had an excellent stay at Susan’s apartment. Location was great - so close to city centre, it was perfectly clean, so well equipped including high quality kitchen utensils etc, very quiet, excellent info on everything including cheaper bus travel, and Susan answered any queries within minutes. Highest recommendation if staying in Edinburgh!

I received personal emails from the host, Susan, the most important of which was letting me know about the EU visas I would need. I haven’t traveled abroad in so long I had no clue. She saved our behinds. Great location for the property with wonderful amenities. Walkable to the Royal Mile and Portobello Beach. I would definitely stay again.

This was an amazing stay! The hospitality and the communication was fantastic. The place is near a bus stop so we did not have to navigate driving in Edinburgh. There’s a store across the street. It was quiet. And beautiful. But most of all the host was incredible!

Excellent location, grocery store and bakery right across the street. bus stop as well. Very cozy and had everything we needed. Our host Susan was great. 5 stars is not enough to describe her level of communication and helpfulness. Within a few hours of booking we had an email from her with information about. the area, transportation, tour options, food etc. We have used VRBO to book for over 20 years, all over the world, and this was by far THE best booking and stay we have had.

Susans place is super cozy and had everything one could need. The whole apartment was perfectly clean and the location so close to the bus and a 7/11 Store was prefect for our first visit to Edinburgh.The communication with Susan was super organised, professional and very friendly.Thanks again for everything!We will come back here for our next visit and recommend the apartment 100%!
