Great accommodation for five of us. Excellent views of harbour and coastline, and a proper castle on the skyline. Marvellous walking. Very good restaurant round the corner.

Excellent, as usual

This is the third time we have stayed with Catch the Breeze. We keep coming back because the properties are comfortable, well placed and beautifully furnished. From the well-stocked kitchen to the massive bath sheets and the thoughtful welcome pack, everything is thought out to make our stay enjoyable. Needless to say, we have booked again for next year.

Perfect

The most perfect setting in Craster with wonderful views and brilliant accommodation. Only mistake was not to go for 2 weeks which I’ll try next year. The staff who you meet, if you do, are quite charming. A little gem !!

Wonderful property in the most stunning of locations

Our third visit to Middlerigg - we simply love it. We holiday in this country a lot and Middlerigg is in the perfect location. Craster is a lovely seaside village, perfect for visiting Northumberland. The ability to leave the house straight onto the Coastal Path, with idyllic walks in both directions is such a positive. We love sitting either on the terrace, in the kitchen/diner or the mezzanine and looking out to Dunstanburgh Castle. The house is spacious, nicely decorated and very well equipped. Beds are comfy. Catch the Breeze are efficient and communicate well.

Wow wow wow

Middlerigg is such a gem of a property. Within minutes we felt so at home. The house as every comfort factor you can imagine and the most amazing views from every single window. The living areas really spoil you for choice and the mezzanine is such a unique touch to the place. We cannot wait to return.

Wonderful place to stay

Cottage is stunning - even better than the website photos. Well designed and decorated and fitted out to high specification. Would definitely come back. We’ve stayed in some lovely places home and abroad but this is probably the best we’ve had - especially with that view and outside terrace.

A wonderful house with fantastic views.

This is probably the best holiday accommodation we have stayed in. It has been tastefully renovated and furnished. The kitchen has everything you need. All the appliances are easy to use. The mezzanine floor provides a wonderful viewing platform to observe the ever changing seascape. The house is lovely and warm with loads of hot water. I could keep listing all the positives about Middlerigg but I think I have made it clear that it is just perfect.

Fabulous

We absolutely LOVED our stay at Middlerigg. It was beautifully decorated for Christmas and extremely well appointed (especially the kitchen where we cooked Christmas lunch). All of us (5 in total) thought Middlerigg was extremely comfortable and user friendly. The underfloor heating is a real bonus and was greatly appreciated for a December stay. The views from the property are amazing - for anyone who likes being by the sea it is a truly wonderful spot. A five star plus property ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Fantastic Stay

Middlerigg had everything we needed. High quality accommodation and extremely clean. It was in a wonderful location with superb views along to the castle. A highlight was getting up early to watch the sunrise over the harbour. Booking and communication was great and Clare was so helpful and friendly. We enjoyed smoked fish from Craster, walks along the coast and trips to explore the spectacular coast, castles and Holy Island.

Fantastic location and beautiful holiday home.

Beautiful holiday home with lots of attention to detail with interior design and furnishings. Location is perfect on good days to explore the amazing Northumbrian coast line or just sit in the den and watch the sea on bad weather days. Some aspects of cleanliness disappointing.
