Spaces Kitchen The kitchen has charming retro tiling and saloon doors giving it 1970s vibes, updated with the latest in modern appliances—hob, over, fridge freezer, microwave, dishwasher and coffee maker. It has some charming vintage features, like a wall-mounted weighing scales that any antique or cookery enthusiast will find delightful. A sunroom off the kitchen is the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee - it also hides a cleverly hidden utility room where the washing machine and dryer reside.
Living/dining room The living room oozes old world charm with stone flag floors and wooden ceilings. This great big open-plan living space was created by blocking up the front door from the street and opening up the ground floor. At one end of the room a cosy fireplace is surrounded by comfortable couches and chairs in classic style, while at the other end a stove with a traditional stone feature wall keeps the dining area warm. Quirky nautical knick-knacks and antique paintings and prints provide plenty of interest to the house. A solid wooden dining table seats six comfortably (and eight if required), with a beautiful brass light fitting illuminating the evening gatherings.
Bedrooms The master bedroom at the top of the house has buckets of wow factor. A large room with vaulted wooden ceilings and wraparound windows, it has unbeatable views over Dingle Bay and Eask Tower. European style with single duvet antique beds are the perfect place to wake up to one of the most breathtaking mornings you will ever have. Taking advantage of the space the room also has a large couch perfectly placed for enjoying the views. There is also a TV, but you will be hard pressed to drag your eyes away towards it!
To the front of the house, on the street side, is another large double bedroom, with high ceilings, atmospherically decorated with antique furniture and a brass double bedstead. This large room also boasts a two-seater couch.
A twin room to the front of the house also has iron bedsteads and antique furnishings, along with original fireplace.
The hallway hosts a fitted wardrobe for extra storage space.
Bathrooms Upstairs the bedrooms share a tiled bathroom with half bath and shower, bidet, sink and WC.
The downstairs bathroom has a stunning stained glass panelled door, and is charmingly retro with wood panel walls, shower, WC, sink and bidet.
Outside space The house is accessed through a good-sized sunroom at the side. The driveway and parking space to the rear is shared with next door. This leads directly to the waterfront. Outside the house is a picnic table and outdoor fireplace with potted plants.

Great location (just a few min walk to the center of town), cozy house with a fabulous view from the master bedroom - there is also a (covered) outdoor sitting area where you can enjoy your morning coffee or a home-cooked meal and watch the boats go by. My kids loved it!
Lovely house, gracious hosts, excellent location, I hated to leave. The only difficult thing was accessing the driveway, it’s tight on a well traveled road, but that’s on me not the host. I’d go back in a heartbeat. Heck I’d live there!
This house is super cute and charming, amazing costal view and so close to everything you'd need, you can walk to everything. They also left an adorable welcome basket of goodies. Highly recommend! We only stayed 2 nights and wished we could enjoy it longer.
Our stay was perfect - absolutely amazing views and the location was so close to everything Dingle has to offer. We had such great host that was available at every request. We cannot wait to come back for our next stay!
Wonderful stay! Lovely view out the windows to beautiful Dingle Bay. Excellent location with short walk into town for restaurants, bars and shops. Charming home with lots of interesting artifacts, reading materials and kitchen/dining facilities.
This adorable house is the in a great location for visiting Dingle. We really enjoyed our stay here and I have so many photos of the sun rise/set from the backyard!
Very clean and beautiful stay. It is a bit of a walk to downtown dingle. But you get a beautiful water view and can have tea or cocktails by the bay, so that is the trade off. Comfortable beds. Beautiful views. Timely communication.
We really enjoyed our time in Wood Quay. The house was clean, comfortable, and charming. The location was excellent - a quick walk to the heart of town, and a nice view of the harbor. Highly recommended.
This house is absolutely amazing. The views from the master bedroom are pure perfection. Great and convenient location. Communication with the property host was stellar. Looking forward to our next (longer) visit!
Lovely setting. Easily accessible to restaurants and coffee shops.

Great view and location, but an old house with old plumbing. Never could fill the tiny “mini tub” with HOT WATER during our 2 weeks! Only 5 gallons (20L) of hot water, then cold… Very nice onsite people tried 3 times, but didn’t get a plumber as requested. Thick black mold around sink drain (and at shower door) easily wiped most of it away with a tissue, but shouldn’t have to! still needs replacement - caulking stained from black moldLook at the bath tub pix. First/only thing I asked when booking (months ago) was about the size of the tub. It looks “half size” because it is, but they never replied. It’s like a shower size 2’ X 2’ and only 6” deep - yet still couldn’t fill it with hot water. WOULD HAVE BEEN EVEN WORSE WITH MORE THAN 2 PEOPLE!!Would stay again if assured these problems were resolved. 5 star view and location, but 3 stars due to problems. 5*responded.
Great location. Great upstairs bedroom with a spectacular view. On a street that is a little busy (getting in and out of the park was harrowing at times) so we kept drapes closed which made the living room a bit dark. But overall, so convenient to the town of Dingle, the whiskey tour and falconry (also very close) were both great!
My partner and I had a wonderful stay at the Wood Quay in Dingle and were so happy that we chose to stay here during our trip! The location simply cannot be beat - you are walking distance from all the restaurants, pubs, and shops that Dingle has to offer while also being right on the water with a stunning view of the Dingle Bay and East Tower. The house itself is comfortable and clean with charming decor. The hosts were very thoughtful and easy to work with. I can’t recommend it enough!
We absolutely loved staying at this property. The location was.perfect for walking around the town. The house was immaculate. The pictures were accurate. Beds very comfortable. The view from the house is amazing. The property manager was exceptional with communication. We would definitely stay here again. Hopefully next time for a longer visit to this lovely town.
