AMAZING! I have been wanting to stay at this property for years, and it did not disappoint. One of the BEST vacation homes we've ever rented. We will absolutely be back.
We loved staying at the Stone House! We stayed for two weeks in November. It was comfortably warm, spacious and cosy, tastefully furnished and well equipped. And the view is really to die for!

It was a pleasure hosting this family and we are so happy they enjoyed there stay with us in the neck of the Dingle peninsula...thank you Julia for the great review.
The setting of this charming stone cottage is one of the best views I have ever seen. Also, there are so many beautiful trails nearby and historic sites to see. We had an amazing time!
We have been fortunate enought to rent VRBO properties around the U.S., in the U.K., France and Ireland. I would put this amazing house at the very top. You will not find a more magestic view anywhere on the coast of Ireland or, fot that matter, anyplace at all. Stunning. Ethereal. And house is a gem - well built, well laid out, outfitted with anything you may need, and - again - such views from the rooms. You can even walk down to the sea and feel the fresh breeze in your face and let your soul just take it in. Brian could not have been a better host. If you need anything at all, he is there for you. And as a bonus he is quite the expert on local and Irish history. I will treasure my conversations with him about the history of the area and the state of the world. I would not hesitate to return to this wonderful cottage on the Wild Atlantic Way and hope to do so in the future.
Exactly as advertised. The setting and location on The Dingle Peninsula is one of our favorite places. Communication was great and our stay could not have been easier.

Beautiful location and lovely host
Our family very much enjoyed our week on the Dingle Peninsula. It was nice to be the kind of tourist that stays in one place instead of trying too see too much. The house was perfect for us and the view was amazing (according to our 2 teenagers).

Bright, comfortable house in a beautiful setting.
Staying at the stone house was the best part of our Ireland trip. The house and setting exceeded expectations, and we were made to feel very welcome. We liked being apart from but close enough to Dingle Town, and enjoyed the nearby village pub and pottery gallery/bakery in Baile an Fheirtearaigh.

Daniel and family...thank you for staying in own cottage at the edge of the Dingle Peninsula and allowing us to be your host,
we appreciate your great review and look forward to see you all again.
The house is amazing. Waking up to the ocean views in the master bedroom. Sitting in the living room or dining room with ample views and a charming fireplace. Everything as advertised and then some.To make things better, after I made a mistake on our checkout, the owner was so kind and allowed us some extra time to gather our items. A true gentleman.

We are happy you all enjoyed your stay in our beautiful part of the Dingle peninsula and for allowing us to be your host...we would love to have you back again.
The communication was spot on from what we expected, always responded promptly, the location was just a beautiful spot with the ocean right out the window. I would stay here again and again if the chance to go back comes up. Kids loved having separate rooms and they loved the sheep right out the window. I would recommend this to anyone that is looking to stay in the area
If I could give a higher review I would. Words, like pictures can't even begin to describe the Stone Cottage. The home itself is impeccable, the view is unbelievable, and Brian is wonderful! You never want to leave!!

About the host
Hosted by Brian
I was born hear and my first language was Irish I Came from a large family of 8 kids. I became a nurse where I traveled to England for work in my younger days but my heart never left home, I returned where myself and my husband Alec reared our family.
Why they chose this property
Alec and I build the house as we wanted to share this piece of Heaven with our guests . Never have i grown tired of the view or even seen a place to equal the place that i call home. Within a few minutes walk you are on the magical beach of clogher which you see from the cottage or Cuis an Naoa where generations of my family have fished from to rear there big family.
What makes this property unique
The view/Peace/Tranquility/Walks or Tracks and simple life... come and see for yourself!!
