Hi Ted Thank you for your kind review, we look forward to seeing you again, perhaps you will have time to take the tiny ferry to Brightlingsea from the park on our doorstep or visit one of the great Seafood restaurants like 'The Company Shed' who have their own oyster beds. Best wishes Mark and The Grove Cottages team.

Highly Recommended.Early October and we had a really nice chilled out weekend in a quiet cosy environment and our dogs loved the squirrel spotting, nearby beach and long walks.Well appointed and very comfortable and a friendly host.We only live just over an hour away, but we'll be back, the location and atmosphere is fantastic. Thanks for your hospitality.

Peaceful Retreat - Perfect

A perfect barn conversion giving you everything you need for a peaceful break away from everything. A friendly welcome from the host shortly after arrival who gave us really useful info on the local area etc. The barn itself is perfect and gives you everything you'd need for the perfect break. Lovely area not too far away from West Mersea and the wonderful seafood sellers
