About this property

Tawny Cottage, luxurious and spacious rural haven

Tawny cottage has been tastefully decorated throughout with attention to detail. A feeling of luxury and tranquility. The cottage enjoys underfloor heating and fabulous rural views to be enjoyed in the warmer months from the decking outside the kitchen. Patio doors open right up to allow the outside in. Tawny cottage is quite quirky, built on 3 levels and provides everything needed for a relaxing stay in Staffordshire. I have 3 cottages here at Leacroft,

We had a lovely stay in the Tawny Cottage. Its beautifully decorated and felt very cosy and relaxed which is exactly what we wanted. we were able to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful view while the children played. About the host

Host profile image
I was a teacher for over 25 years and retired to run our holiday cottages. We built these by converting farm buildings at our home here in Staffordshire. We used my husband's experience in the travel and leisure business to create 3 high quality cottages. I enjoy running my own business and the flexibility it brings to my life. We love to travel and we do a lot of walking especially in the peak district which is on our doorstep.

Why they chose this property

Tawny Cottage is a quirky cottage, built on 3 levels. The ground floor has 2 bedrooms , an en suite and a cloakroom. There are a few steps down to the open plan living/kitchen/dining area and stairs up to a master bedroom and large family bathroom with a free standing bath. The patio is lovely to sit on in the summer and look across the valley and fields. We take great pride in our cottages and continually invest in them maintain a high standard.

What makes this property unique

Tawny cottage is pet free, perfect for those people with allergies and it is in a peaceful , rural location.
