Great stay and rest

Really enjoyed the house and area. The house has everything a family would need. They even supplier extra new fans as there was a heat wave. The garage parking was very useful as well. Castelmoron-sur-Lot Is a nice city to visit and so many wonderful places to visit all around.

Lovely beside the Lot

A comfortable, roomy house in a lovely position overlooking the River Lot with useful, shady gardens and a private garage to keep our car out of the sun. Everything we hoped for at a good price.

Perfect house

This house is really beautiful and the view of the river is breathtaking. We stayed for 12 days - the house is beautifully furnished and very well equipped. Sandrine, who is extremely helpful, does not speak English and our French is limited so we had some amusing "Franglais" conversations with the help of Google Translate in

Spacious old town house

This property had everything we needed. Lovely view of the river, close to the town centre in a quiet road, comfortable, spacious, nice gardens, integral garage.... life was easy and we just chilled. Wonderful welcome from Sandrine, the housekeeper but you really need to know French as she speaks no English at all!

Fantastic property

This is a wonderful place to stay, the house is very well equipped and has everything that makes for a perfect holiday. Plenty of space with two lounges, a beautiful garden and even a garage for your car. The neighbours are very friendly and helpful, and the house is in a village that has two good boulangeries, and an excellent restaurant, Le Commerce. This is a super place to visit the many surrounding towns and villages. If you like swimming there is the Lot at the foot of the garden. For cyclists there are great networks of trails available. The owners and house manager are welcoming and supportive, quick to help if there are any problems. A perfect place to explore the region, and have a great holiday.

Extremely well-appointed and located house

We spent 2 weeks at this wonderful house in October/November of 2023. The large house is extremely well-appointed. There are views out onto the well-manicured and very private garden from the kitchen, dining room, and living room. The attached garage was easy to get in and out of. Each bedroom has a beautiful ensuite with shower. And the views from the largest bedroom over the Lot River are superb. The hosts, Alain and Martine, were exceptionally welcoming and helpful. There’s a boulangerie at the end of the street and a very good quality épicerie also within walking distance, as is a decent restaurant, Le Commerce. A very good supermarché is also nearby. Highly recommended.

Charmantes Haus mit zauberhaftem Garten

Schön gelegenes geräumiges Haus am Lot mit wunderbarem Garten in einem Innenhof. Sehr ruhig, aber trotzdem nah zum Ortskern. Bäcker um die Ecke. Die Küchenausstattung ist super, es fehlte an nichts. Gute Matratzen. Sehr freundlicher Kontakt mit den Vermietern, die sich rührend gekümmert haben. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt - Dankeschön.

Wunderschön

Wir hatten eine sehr schöne Woche in diesem charmanten Häuschen. Viel Platz, geschmackvoll eingerichtet, alles da was man braucht. Der Garten ist herrlich mit den verschiedenen Sitzplätzen. Die Badestelle am Fluss ist direkt gegenüber, man muss nur die Brücke überqueren. Im Ort gibt es alles was man braucht, zwei Bäcker und einen gut ausgestatteten Supermarkt. Die Kommunikation mit den Besitzern war perfekt, vor Ort wurden wir sehr herzlich empfangen, alles hat super geklappt. Castelmoron-sur-Lot war ein guter Ausgangspunkt für Ausflüge in die Umgebung. Wir können diese Unterkunft aus vollem Herzen weiter empfehlen.

Ein schönes Haus

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt, traumhafte ruhige Lage, großzügig, viel Platz, Bäcker gleich um die Ecke, Badestelle nah am Haus. Ein schöner Innenhof und Platz im Garten, wobei die Wiese wegen extremen Mückenbefalls nicht nutzbar war. Mücken sind ohnehin allgegenwärtig durch die Nähe des Flusses. Im Wohnzimmer, wo der Fernseher steht, wäre eine Verdunklung wünschenswert, wie sie in allen anderen Zimmern vorhanden ist. Es ist zum Film anschauen auch spät abends noch zu hell, wir haben uns mit Decken vor den Glastüren beholfen. Manche der vorhandenen Töpfe eignen sich nicht für den neuen Induktionsherd (der in der Beschreibung leider nicht erwähnt war), auch unsere italienische Espressokanne funktionierte nicht (auf Ceran, wie in der Beschreibung steht) wäre es möglich gewesen. Die Besteckauswahl könnte etwas großzügiger sein. Es mangelt an Teelöffeln und Messern und Weingläsern, da muss man immer gleich abwaschen. In zwei Bädern gibt es keine Duschabtrennungen. Eine Einweisung in die Regeln der Müllentsorgung fehlte, da hatten wir bis zuletzt keine Klarheit. Die Gesundheitsversorgung ist nicht wie in Deutschland, wir brauchten einen Zahnarzt und wurden von 19 (!) Praxen in der Umgebung weggeschickt, einschließlich der im Ort, weil "keine neuen Patienten aufgenommen werden" und keiner der Ärzte Zeit hätte. Wir brauchten lediglich ein Provisorium für einen abgebrochenen Zahn. War nicht möglich, sehr enttäuschend.

Description and pictures on website describe it well

Large private house - easily big enough for 2 couples and 2 children. Lovely riverside setting, great garden area. Locked, attached garage. Quiet. Boulangerie a block away with great baguettes! We were there in October but in summer the beach is very close for swimming and kayaking. Bicycles also available.

Très belle maison avec un jardin magnifique.

Nous avons passé un court mais superbe séjour dans cette belle maison au bord du Lot dont on a une très belle vue dans l´une des chambres. Sandrine ainsi que les propriétaires sont très charmants. Ils nous ont très bien accueilli et sont disponible. Nous avions un problème d´eau chaude Mr. madame Cavalier n´ont pas hésité à venir sur place avec un artisan pour effectuer la réparation malgré les 45min. de trajet. Merci encore. Petit village agréable avec 2 boulangeries, une épicerie et un U-Express avec station service pour l´essentiel. Un bar-restaurant qui malheureusement n´ouvre que le midi de 12h à 14h et autrement sur la plage un petit bar qui propose des tapas mais qui hors saison n´est qu´ouvert du vendredi au dimanche. A proximité (5min.) le Lot avec sa petite plage et sa location de pédalos, canoés, vélos et petits bateaux à moteur électrique. nous recommandons très fortement cette maison á tous ceux qui sont de passage dans cette région. Liebevoll gestaltetes Haus

Wir hatten einen tollen Urlaub in diesem wunderschönen Haus. Wir wurden sehr herzlich von Sandrine empfangen. Wir können dieses Ferienhaus uneingeschränkt weiterempfehlen. Erholung pur!

Une maison pleine de charme

La maison est aussi chaleureuse et accueillante que les photos le laissent penser sur l'annonce. Un jardin terrasse romantique en diable et un autre jardin plus bas tout aussi agréable. Les bords du Lot ont des vertus apaisantes. En un mot ce fut un séjour très agréable.

Wunderschöner erholsamer Urlaub

Ein gemütliches Haus mit viel Charme, wunderschön gelegen am Lot, traumhafter Garten. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Sandrine ist wunderbar und die Besitzer des Hauses ebenso. Es war eine schöne Zeit. Das Haus ist mit allem noch schöner als auf den Bildern. Absolut empfehlenswert für einen Urlaub in pittoresken Städten und viel Natur.

jolie, calme et paisible maison

jolie maison en bordure et vue sur le Lot tout est bien pensé, espace de vie parfait jardin très agréable, avec transats, plancha etc tout le confort qu'on peut retrouver chez soi je recommande fortement, et avec un accueilde Sandrine excellent je garde l'espoir de pouvoir y revenir

Vous êtes accueillis chaleureusement par Sandrine. Elle vous fait visiter cette jolie maison de famille avec fierté. C'est mieux que sur les photos ! La vue depuis l'une des chambres sur le Lot est magnifique. A peine partie, j'envisage déjà d'y retourner. Prévoyez pour la protection contre les moustiques
